The Supreme Court voted 5–4 vote to allow U.S. Border Patrol agents to remove razor wire that was set up along the U.S.–Mexico border by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, while a legal challenge plays out.
In a brief order, the high court vacated a ruling issued in mid-December 2023 by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, and Brett Kavanaugh voted to deny the application to vacate that lower court injunction, which would have prevented Border Patrol agents from removing the barrier.
Chief Justice John Roberts, along with Justices Amy Coney Barrett, Ketanji Brown Jackson, Elena Kagan, and Sonia Sotomayor, sided with the Biden administration. No one provided an explanation for their vote.
Roberts is completely unreliable and blows with the wind of political opinion. Coney Barrett, hailed as a rock-solid Catholic conservative, is proving to be a huge disappointment and just as unreliable.
With an invasion of massive proportions, she says it’s just dandy for the federal government to remove razor wire barriers to allow foreigners unimpeded access to the country. If we were processing the illegals and deporting them or testing their claims of hardship, that would be one thing, but we’re in the middle of a full on invasion that is being facilitated by the United States governement.
We’re under occupation by a ruling class that has no interest in enforcing the law.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton isn’t giving up yet, promising “that ‘the fight is not over’ after the Supreme Court granted an emergency appeal by the Biden administration to allow Border Patrol agents to resume cutting razor wire set up by Texas at the southern border.”
“The Supreme Court’s temporary order allows Biden to continue his illegal effort to aid the foreign invasion of America,” Paxton said in a statement to Fox News Digital.
“The destruction of Texas’s border barriers will not help enforce the law or keep American citizens safe,” he said. “This fight is not over, and I look forward to defending our state’s sovereignty.”
Since when is a State not allowed to secure its borders? When is it not allowed to protect its citizens? In what way does “federal” law trump “state” law?

2K migrants evacuated from Floyd Bennett Field ahead of storm: officials
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Thousands of migrants were evacuated from Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn to ride out a potential rainstorm on Tuesday night, officials said.
Approximately 2.000 migrants were moved from Floyd Bennett Field in Flatbush to James Madison High School on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Office of Emergency Management. Roughly 40 Department of Education buses were in the evacuation, according to the OEM.
The asylum seekers spent the night in the school’s gymnasium before returning to Floyd Bennett Field on Wednesday morning, officials said. The field began housing about 2,000 migrants last year.
Officials said the move comes over concerns of high winds and flooding that are expected to hit the area.
“The health and safety of migrants in our care is always a top priority, which is why we are currently overseeing the relocation of 1,900 guests from the humanitarian emergency response and relief center at Floyd Bennett Field due to an updated forecast with increased wind speeds estimated to be at over 70 MPH tonight,” a City Hall spokesperson said in a statement.
A strong storm system moved through the area later Tuesday, bringing heavy rain and damaging winds to portions of the tri-state area.
Students at a Brooklyn high school were kicked out of the classroom to make room for nearly 2,000 migrants who were evacuated from a controversial tent shelter due to a monster storm closing in on the Big Apple.
The city made the move amid concerns that a massive migrant tent at Floyd Bennett Field would collapse from torrential rains and gusting winds — packing them instead into the second-floor gym at James Madison High School five miles away.
The school’s neighbors were not keen on the last-minute decision.
“This is f—ed up,” said a local resident who identified himself only as Rob. “It’s a litmus test. They are using a storm, a legitimate situation, where they are testing this out. I guarantee you they’ll be here for the entire summer.
“There’s 1,900 people getting thrown into my neighborhood, half a block from where I live and we don’t know who they are,” he said.
“They’re not vetted. A lot of them have criminal records and backgrounds and we don’t even know.”
Sounds like “Rob” is a raging racist xenophobe! Doesn’t he know that “the health and safety of migrants in our care is always a top priority”? Foreigners are being prioritized over native citizens, “Rob.”
Plus, learning remotely worked so well during the Covid lockdowns!
One irate mom even went off on the migrants as they pulled up in a line of school buses in the pouring rain shortly before 6 p.m.
“How do you feel? Does it feel good?” the woman, who only identified herself as Michelle, screamed at the buses.
“How does it feel that you kicked all the kids out of school tomorrow? Does it feel good? I hope you feel good. I hope you will sleep very well tonight!”
Said a local man, “How do you feel stealing American tax money?”
Whoa! So much white supremacy and hatred of brown and black bodies!
Getting the children who were in that field into a shelter that offered more protection is basic human decency, but this is a great example of how our ruling class is burdening us, the American citizens, with the influx of foreign nationals.

They let the principal (who had been there for years and everyone loved) go because she didn’t speak Spanish and brought in a new person who does. At our Granddaughter’s 8th grade graduation in May (from the same middle school) over half the class was Hispanic. They bus kids in from lower income areas so they can please the diversity squad. The liberals in town love it. Sara said there were fights everyday mostly among the Hispanic girls. Makes me very, very sad that this is what we’ve come to.

What could possibly be driving this monumental shift?

Following a dip during the Covid pandemic, immigration through the southern border is up. The US Border Patrol reported more than 1.6 million encounters with migrants along the border with Mexico in the 2021 fiscal year, more than quadruple the number of the prior fiscal year and the highest annual total on record.
By 2060, the census projects whites will comprise only 36 percent of the under-18 population, with Hispanics accounting for 32 percent.

Aside from tax cuts and a tireless bloodlust for forever wars, there’s one thing Republicans of the bygone Bush era never tire of — the mass importing of destitute foreigners who neocons swear are nothing less than patriotic Americans at heart, just itching for a chance to make a meaningful contribution to a country they so dearly love.

What we’ve learned over the course of decades, but particularly in recent months, is that a substantial portion, if not the vast majority of Central and South American migrants thrusting themselves into U.S. taxpayer care is that they view this country as little more than an apartment upgrade.

The problem of immigration has been going on for decades but, with the current junta in power, it’s being exacerbated beyond what anyone would have dreamed. You may have noticed that neither the Democrats NOR THE REPUBLICANS have made any serious attempt at stanching the flow of illegals. Where are the bills to overhaul our immigration system? Where are the calls to immediately close our borders to any trespassers?
Their collaboration on illegal immigration is a perfect example of the Uniparty, which exists to keep its members in power.
With that in mind, take a look at the piece of mail I received this past week from Xfinity, the Internet provider who connects me to this blog. They want to get more of their customers to join their mobile services.
Notice anything about it that might present an issue for me?
I don’t speak Spanish. I mean, un poco, but only the bit I learned in seventh grade Spanish class, like “arroz con pollo.” Other than that, this bulk advertisement is mostly indecipherable to me. Fortunately for me, Xfinity included an English version of the advertisement on the other side.
Let me point out a couple of more things about this mailer, and then explain why I’m making this an issue. First, when I took the mailer out of the envelope, it was folded so that the Spanish language side was up.
Normally I get advertisements in English. If there’s another language, it’s treated as secondary, as a translation of the primary language, usually on the back. This was reversed.
At first I thought it was a mistake. But, no, it was intentional.
You know how I know? Because my name and address are printed on the Spanish language side of the advertisement. You know how else I know? Because the envelope in which the advertisement was delivered is also printed with a promo in Spanish on the envelope:
I also know that this was intentional because Xfinity cannot know who reads English and who reads Spanish and who reads both. That’s why Xfinity included both English and Spanish versions. It’s not like my name was accidently added to the “Spanish-speakers” mail file.
And it can’t be that Xfinity is just throwing thousands of mailers to the wind and hoping to catch some new customers. The fine print says that the offer is for, “Existing Xfinity customers with a plan that has been active more than 90 days only.”
Xfinity is clearly not assuming English as the primary language. So here’s my question: why did Xfinity choose to bulk mail an advertisement to who-knows-how-many customers that is clearly targeting Spanish-speaking people?
I can only think of three reasons:
My region is now majority Central American and I’m a minority. That would be news to me but, given the open border over the last three years, unsurprising.
Xfinity has gone woke and they are now prioritizing “brown and black bodies” over white ones, no matter the racial make up of my region. How racist of them.
Spanish-speakers have more money to spend than I do.
Maybe it’s a combination of all three. Whatever the strategy, it underscores the changing demographics of the United States, and that’s why I’m calling your attention to it.
The United States was founded as an English-speaking nation. Even as we grew in size and population, we remained a largely European-immigrant, English-speaking country. When other immigrants arrived, they either had to know English or learn English to thrive in their new home. We didn’t cater to every newcomer and print foreign languages on our signs or our products. If you wanted to “be an American,” you learned the primary language of your adopted home.
But the cultural Marxists and anti-Americans don’t want us to be a homogenus nation that is bound together by a common language or creed. They tell us that being “American” is racist and full of white supremacy. When anyone has tried to pass legislation that would make English the official language of the United States, it is often opposed,
“as a veiled attempt to promote racism and bigotry, rather than an attempt to unify a country. They argue that English-only legislation creates a negative image of non-English speakers, and increases intolerance and hostility toward cultural diversity.”
Ah, yes. Cultural diversity, the Marxist trope that for us to be a moral force for good in this world, we have to be “diverse.” Nothing says unity so clearly as diversity does.
To declare English as the official language of the United States, to establish a uniform English language rule for naturalization, and to avoid mis-constructions of the English language texts of the laws of the United States, pursuant to Congress’ powers to provide for the general welfare of the United States and to establish a uniform rule of naturalization under article I, section 8, of the Constitution.
But have you heard that such a bill was being considered? You haven’t?

Getting that Xfinity bill in the mail surprised me because it’s direct evidence that I’m being displaced. I have to flip the page to get a translation, not the immigrant, because it’s not written with me in mind. I’m secondary.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas called out Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Wednesday, labeling his migrant bussing policy “a remarkable failure of governance.”
Mayorkas, who faces impeachment proceedings in the House for his handling of the illegal immigration crisis, blamed Abbott, a Republican, for failing to cooperate with officials in Democrat-led cities that have been overwhelmed by migrant arrivals.
“Let me identify one fundamental problem here, and that is the fact that we have one governor in the state of Texas who is refusing to cooperate with other governors and other local officials,” Mayorkas said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
Emphasizing the need for the country to “stand united” on immigration, Mayorkas said that “it’s a remarkable failure of governance to refuse to cooperate with one’s fellow local and state officials.”
My mind is simply reeling with an avalanche of thoughts — so many that my brain is sputtering. I mean, the audacity!
Mayorkas is being impeached because of his massive “failure of governance” to secure the border. Not only has he not secured the border, he has facilitated the invasion of a horde of foreigners, which is at the root of Abbott’s bussing tactic.
House Republicans have blamed Mayorkas as the border crisis has worsened under his leadership. The Homeland Security Committee will hold its first impeachment hearing into the secretary on Jan. 10 as Republicans accuse Mayorkas of refusing to enforce immigration laws.
For years Texas and other border states have borne the brunt of our government’s intentional, criminal, unconstitutional and anti-American policies that allow foreigners to simply walk over the border and traipse into America without discrimination, investigation, examination, prosecution or follow up. In fact, not only do they not prevent them from entering, they facilitate their journey by ferrying these foreigners all over the country in the dead of night and dropping them off in unsuspecting communities.
For Mayorkas to accuse Greg Abbott of “a remarkable failure of governance” is simply beyond the pale. You want “cooperation”? Then cooperate with the border states by keeping illegals out. You want to bail out your buddies in Democrat-led cities? Then tell them to quit showboating as “sanctuary cities” in defiance of our laws.
Greg Abbott has called the Democrats’ bluff, basically saying, “You boasted about what a compassionate city you were, offering sanctuary to foreigners who are here illegally. Well, since you claim the moral high ground, we’ve got plenty of illegals here to send you. Have at it.”
He’s forcing the progressive Democrats (are there any other kind these days?) and cultural Marxists (but I repeat myself) to live up to their own rules.

Apart from a fundamental misunderstanding of Christianity, which is not about rule-keeping, this Alinsky tactic is quite effective at undermining confidence and creating a hot seat of hypocrisy. Abbott is forcing mayors like Brandon Johnson (Chicago) and Eric Adams (New York City) to obey their own rules. If Alinsky is right, they won’t be able to. Both of them are complaining about the busloads of immigrants, they claim to have no place to put them, and they’re impounding busses from Texas.
Racists! Xenophobes!
Mayorkas and his ilk are seeding our destruction by widely dispersing foreigners among us to dilute and then replace the founding Anglo-Saxon culture that built America into the greatest economic, political and military power the world has ever seen. And they have made great progress.
Abbott is one of the few who understand this and is fighting fire with true governance.
Progressives are shameless hacks who accuse others of doing what they themselves are doing. And they do it with absolutely no sense of irony or self-awareness.
Illegal immigrants are warning each other to stay away from New York’s new “tent city” for migrants which is located at Floyd Bennett Field. They say the controversial Brooklyn shelter is “crazy” and “not suitable for children” which has prompted families to either flee the site and/or refuse to be transported there.
This has created a significant problem because this site, which is made up of four congregate sleeping dorms that can hold up to 2,000 people, is currently the only shelter the city is offering to illegal immigrants with children, according to the New York Post.
Let me get this straight. People who have entered the United States ILLEGALLY are “refusing” to stay at the shelters Americans have paid for and erected to house them and “this has created a significant problem”?
Dude, the “significant problem” is that these people are in this country in the first place.
A Venezuelan couple who arrived in the Big Apple with their three small children a few days ago said that they refused to be transported to Floyd Bennett after another illegal migrant family had warned them about the facility.
“They said they were going to send us to Floyd Bennett Field yesterday,” the 23-year-old father told the Post.
“We did not go because we already know the situation over there. We saw people returned with children. They say it’s not suitable there. There is nothing there…not even a television,” he said.
I don’t even know what to say. Imagine someone breaking in and squatting in your home, then complaining that you suck as a host because there’s no Bud Light in the fridge. Besides telling them that you no longer buy Bud Light, you’d tell them they were the most entitled ingrates you’d ever seen and to get the <censored> out of your home.
The Venezuelan family had been sleeping on chairs at The Roosevelt Hotel in Midtown Manhattan before they were told to relocate to Floyd Bennet Field. But since they refused the offer, the parents say that they might have to sleep on the streets with their children ages 5, 3, and 10 months.
“They told me that if we didn’t take that address…they couldn’t help us and we were going to stay on the streets or go to another city in the United States,” the father told the outlet.
The mother explained that the City won’t help them since they rejected the offer. The family was bused to the Big Apple after illegally entering the US through Texas.
“We arrived four days ago and they sent us to the tent and we rejected it so they don’t want to help. They don’t want to show us anywhere else,” she said in tears.
The father said he would rather sleep in the hotel lobby and added, “Right now we have nowhere to stay. Sleeping in the chair is the safest thing I see. We are going to be on the streets with the babies.”
The mother has the sadz because no one is HeLPiNg HeR after rejecting attempts to HeLP hER. Her husband is fine with sleeping on a chair in a hotel lobby. It sounds like they may need some marriage counseling.
I truly wonder what this family thought they were going to get when they traipsed across the southern border illegally. A red carpet? Slippers, cigar and smoking jacket? A new car from Oprah and an Xbox for the kids?
In what world does a foreigner waltz into another country and start demanding television and better accomodations?
An upside down world.
A world in which the government of the native people has invited an invasion of foreign nationals to displace the current population, degrade the country’s uniqueness and exceptionalism, and import a horde of new voters who will keep the kleptocrats in power until they no longer need the voters and rule with an increasingly iron fist.

Our southern border is non-existent, the federal government having abandoned any pretense of providing for the common defense. Caring for illegal aliens currently within the United States could cost American taxpayers up to $451 billion per year, a Monday interim staff report from House Republicans has concluded.
Originally obtained by the New York Post, the 49-page report entitled “The Historic Dollar Costs of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ Open-Border Policies” became public the same day that the House voted to refer a resolution to impeach the eponymous security official to the Homeland Security Committee.
“Every day, millions of American taxpayer dollars are spent on costs directly associated with illegal immigration and the unprecedented crisis at the Southwest border sparked by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ policies,” the report begins. “Only a small fraction is ever recouped from the taxes paid by illegal aliens, with the rest falling on the shoulders of American citizens and lawful residents.”
“Mass illegal immigration, accelerated by Mayorkas’ open-borders policies, now represents a massive cost to the federal government and state governments alike, as well as the pocketbooks of private citizens and businesses,” it continues. “The range of costs inflicted by Mayorkas’ border crisis cover everything from emergency medical care to increased demands on law enforcement to housing and shelter benefits for illegal aliens.”
Illegal aliens pay taxes, but they are dwarfed by the outlay from the American taxpayer.
In the end, Republicans drew damning conclusions about Mayorkas’ job performance from the data.
“It is morally unacceptable that American taxpayer dollars should be funneled to those who violate our laws and demand expansive, taxpayer-funded benefits like education, health care, housing, and more,” the report went on. “Many of these individuals will likely represent a drain on American society for the remainder of their days in the United States, constantly absorbing more benefits from the state than they ever contribute–to say nothing of the fact that they have no lawful basis to remain in the country to begin with.”
Just because it’s a partisan report doesn’t mean it isn’t true.
Former President Donald Trump is planning a widespread expansion of his first administration’s hardline immigration policies if he is elected to a second term in 2024, including rounding up undocumented immigrants already in the US and placing them in detention camps to await deportation, a source familiar with the plans confirmed to CNN.
The plans, first reported by The New York Times, would necessitate building large camps to house migrants waiting for deportation and tapping federal and local law enforcement to assist with large-scale arrests of undocumented immigrants across the country.
Should Congress refuse to fund the operation, Trump could turn to a tactic used in his first term to secure more funding for a border wall — redirecting funds from the Pentagon, the source confirmed.
In a sane world, Mayorkas would be fired and replaced by the president for his failure to secure the southern border. About 8 million illegal aliens have crossed the border during Biden’s time in office, including about 2 million who are gotaways, the ones that no one knows where they are. They didn’t turn themselves into Border Patrol. They ran and spread out through the country. This is Biden’s world and nothing is sane. He did away with the immigration policies in place at the border on his first day in office. He was desperate to prove he was not like the previous president. Word spread quickly and before anyone knew it, the southern border was overwhelmed with illegal immigrants. The rest is history.
The last couple of days my rants have probably sounded like a guy who is despondent and without hope. If I’m being honest, there’s some truth in that assessment — I am greatly discouraged over the condition of the United States, and I am losing hope that there’s a chance to pull us out of the nosedive we’re in.
However.
I’ve written before that, ultimately, my hope in this life is not in politics, a president, a change in culture, or even in the people who populate these United States. My hope is in God, who measures out justice and retribution as he sees fit.

So while I’m not at all joyful and hopeful about the future of these United States, I do rest assured in the future because of the one who is sovereign over all.
Having said that, there are some interesting developments taking place in the last few weeks that ought to give us some hope that people are starting to wake up to the realities that are being forced on us by the ideological demagogues on the Left. Before I share those with you, however, I need to issue a LOUD DISCLAIMER SO THAT NO ONE MISSES IT: I DO NOT TAKE PLEASURE IN THE DEATH OF ANYONE.
Even God Himself takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked (see Ezekiel 33:11).

I write that because I’m going to give you some examples of woke activists becoming victims of their own woke policies. And while I will be the first to shake my head with disbelief and say, “play stupid games, win stupid prizes,” in the end it’s a sad day when anyone loses their life for any reason, stupid or not.
Death is final. That life is over. It will never be repeated. It’s done. Extinguished. A terrible and sobering reality.
But sometimes people bring it on themselves; sometimes directly, sometimes indirectly.
EcoMap Technologies CEO Pava Marie LaPere, a self-described “anti-racist” and Black Lives Matter supporter who spoke out against the “criminalization of Black bodies,” was allegedly beaten to death in her own home in Baltimore on Monday by a black male who was released early from prison under the criminal justice reform policies she championed.
Video shows that the 26-year-old let her alleged assailant into the building because he pretended to be fumbling for his keys according to this report, which says,
So he was acting “as if he had forgotten his keys,” which convinced Johns Hopkins University graduate Pava LaPere to let the convicted sex offender — a fugitive suspect wanted on charges of rape, arson and attempted murder — into her building. Because it’s about a “building a deeply inclusive culture,” see? Virtue-signalling can get you killed.
So can naïveté, which plays into almost every one of these examples.
Over in Philadelphia, Josh Kruger was a freelance journalist and advocate for gay rights, homeless people, and drug abusers.
Kruger, 39, was killed Monday after police say someone entered his home just before 1:30 a.m. and shot him multiple times at the base of his stairs. The shooter fled, police said, and Kruger ran outside seeking help. Officers found him collapsed on the sidewalk on the 2300 block of Watkins Street, and rushed him to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, where he died a short time later.
According to this report, “Kruger had a long history of downplaying violent crime in the city, often openly mocking those who expressed concerns about homicides in Philadelphia.”

A stabbing took place early Monday morning in Brooklyn’s Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, claiming the life of poet and far-left activist Ryan Carson. The 32-year-old was walking down the sidewalk with his girlfriend when he was attacked by a stranger.

That’s three people murdered in three different cities that have become dumpster fires because of the woke policies they supported.

Unfortunately for those involved, actions do have consequences, and Mayor Muriel Bowser is learning that the hard way. Over in Chicago, IL, Gov. JB (for “Jelly Belly”) Pritzker has all but accused the Biden adminstration of ruining his city.

Gov. Kathy Hochul of New York is similarly perturbed and said so.
The governor, up to her eyeballs in migrants, this week pointed the bony finger of blame at Biden administration border policies — and this was a very hopeful sign.
Could she be coming out of her coma?
Probably not.
For the governor then effectively endorsed the root cause of New York’s border-crosser crisis — Gotham’s completely insane, prohibitively expensive and totally unsustainable “right-to-shelter” policy.
You know, the one that says if you can make it to New York, you’ll have it made in New York — now and forever, no questions asked, until the tax base breaks.
To be sure, Hochul called out Washington’s abandonment of those states and localities shellacked by America’s shameful — and exceeding dangerous — border breakdown.
“This crisis originated with the federal government,” she quite correctly noted in an Albany speech Thursday, “and it must be resolved through the federal government.”
The problem, she said, is the border itself: As in, “It’s too open right now.”
Which it obviously is. The consequences — societal, fiscal and cultural — also are obvious, and becoming more so.
But Hochul’s candor — aimed squarely at Washington, and at Joe Biden in particular — clearly has had consequences too.
On Monday, she was warbling a different — far more deferential — tune. To wit:
“With respect to what was said about the border, I have called for a more thoughtful, balanced national immigration — federal — immigration policy.”
Translation: “Oops, I sure stepped in it this time. Please don’t hurt me.”
And now, much too late—as in closing the barn door after the horse has bolted—Biden closes the barn door. Well, 20 miles of it, anyway. And he’s waiving 26 federal laws to do it.
“The Secretary of Homeland Security has determined, pursuant to law, that it is necessary to waive certain laws, regulations, and other legal requirements in order to ensure the expeditious construction of barriers and roads in the vicinity of the international land border in Starr County, Texas,” read the public notice produced by DHS secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’s office this week. The plan is to build at least 20 miles of new border barriers along the Rio Grande — an area Congress, in 2019, designated as a vital crossing point and appropriated $1.38 billion for the construction of a border wall to close.
The Biden White House is waiving no fewer than 26 federal laws — including the Clean Air Act, the Safe Drinking Water Act, and the Endangered Species Act, among others — to construct the additional miles of wall with all due alacrity. Given the administration’s sensitivity to criticism from its left flank, this is not an initiative this White House would pursue if it had a choice. Moreover, the administration’s decision opens it up to the charge of hypocrisy, given the president’s categorical denunciation of the very concept of a border wall.
“It’s imperative that we secure our borders, but ‘build the wall’ is a slogan divorced from reality,” Biden wrote in a 2019 op-ed condemning the Trump White House’s “racist” policies toward the “Latinx” population. Building the wall, he wrote, was a waste of time and money. It would not “stop asylum seekers fleeing” north, nor would it reduce the undocumented population, “most of whom overstay legal visas.”
Delicious. Biden and the Dems are building a wall that they called racist, xenophobic and ineffective. Logically, that makes them racist, xenophobic and poor stewards.
Nah. That makes them hypocrites.

EAGLE PASS, Texas— Illegal migrants fist bumped and thanked Border Patrol agents for cutting through barbed wire that had been erected by Texas authorities to secure the border, the Daily Caller News Foundation observed Thursday in Eagle Pass, Texas.
Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott recently instructed Texas authorities to place more wire along the Rio Grande River to address the influx of illegal crossings. Border Patrol agents cut through the wire to take into custody a group of migrants that had crossed the Rio Grande and arrived at the U.S. side of the river.
The migrants who crossed illegally Thursday thanked Border Patrol and the U.S. after they were let in.
What is happening?
Our “Border Patrol agents” are acting as doormen doormats for foreigners who have no business being in our country. It’s lawlessness. It’s anarchy. It’s self-destructive.
And it all starts at the top with the Resident and his evil puppet masters.

Now we know why: the border patrol is facilitating the invasion. They don’t need any money for protection because “””protection””” is not what they’re doing. The Border Patrol, which is the armed law enforcement division of U.S. Customs and Border Protection within the Department of Homeland Security, is only following orders. But those orders come from Alejandro N. Mayorkas, Secretary of Homeland Security.
And Secretary Mayorkas has no interest in defending our borders, even though THAT’S THE JOB.
America is in a death spiral, and we won’t pull out of it until we clear out all the anti-American, Marxist globalists like Alejandro.

One way liberals are working to keep Trump off the ballot is through “a legal barrage against Trump that so far includes a total of 91 felony counts, every one of them politically motivated.”

The talking heads hyperventilated over Trump telling the truth.
A manhunt remains underway as police search for Danelo Cavalcante, a 34-year-old illegal alien from Brazil, after he escaped from Chester County Prison on August 31. A $10,000 reward is now being offered to the person who leads police to Cavalcante.
Cavalcante was spotted on surveillance footage on September 2 just 1.5 miles away from the prison and police believe he remains in the area but could now be elsewhere.
“Law enforcement is requesting that residents in the area remain indoors at this time. Lock your vehicles. Review your surveillance cameras and contact police if you observe anything suspicious,” Chester County District Attorney Deb Ryan said in a statement:
Danelo Cavalcante is considered an extremely dangerous man. Please remain vigilant in assisting with this search. If you see this individual do not approach him. Call 911 immediately. [Emphasis added]
What, they don’t have enough prisons in Brazil for this guy? They have to send their guy here to live on the taxpayer’s dime for three squares a day? And he doesn’t even like it?
A man who entered New York City just two months ago after living in Venezuela has become a poster boy for the migrant crisis after he was arrested six separate times, often for violent attacks. He arrived in the city just about two months ago, first coming in on June 27.
The 29-year-old Daniel Hernandez Martinez reportedly committed his first crime during his second day in New York City, when he was said to have stolen merchandise from a Brooklyn Costco. He then hit up a Duane Reade in Manhattan’s Columbus Circle.
Just a day later, he allegedly assaulted a security guard at a different Duane Reade location.
“He’s been wreaking havoc,” stated a cop with over 20 years of experience.
“This is not an isolated incident. These migrants are getting arrested quite often here, and we really don’t know who they are. They really don’t have ID. They’re not being vetted properly, but some of them are committing some of the most violent crimes here.”
Why the sudden explosion in organized retail crime? When it covers this issue at all, the mainstream press usually just throws up its hands, or says retailers are exaggerating the problem.
But could it have anything to do with the fact that Biden opened the border and let millions of illegal immigrants flood into the country?
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) sees a connection. In a statement released last June, it said: “Recent investigations have also identified organized retail crime schemes exploiting undocumented migrants forced to steal goods to pay back ‘coyotes’ who smuggle them across international borders.”
Boosters are often undocumented immigrants, labor trafficked into the United States and working off a debt, or individuals suffering from some form of addiction. The boosters are the thieves on the ground that steal (boost) the products. They typically have a list of merchandise to steal from their crew boss and may hit numerous stores in one day. The boosters will likely be paid in cash or through anonymous/encrypted peer-to-peer payment apps.
By June of last year, the problem had grown so severe that ICE announced an effort to crack down on this migrant-fueled crime wave.
Of course, this results in higher prices for your average American shopper.
The person responsible for the mayhem and population displacement that we’re undergoing is Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, under whom is U.S. Customs and Border Protection. He is intentionally failing at protecting our border. No one is this incompetent at this level of “responsibility.”
He ought to be impeached and removed from office. But will the RINOs allow that to happen? Nope. They didn’t.

Illinois Gov. Jay Robert Pritzker has signed into law a bill allowing non-citizens to become police officers over the objection of the biggest police union in the state, which called it a “potential crisis of confidence in law enforcement.”
Mr. Pritzker signed HB3751 into law on July 28, allowing non-citizens to apply to become police officers in Illinois with immediate effect, provided that they’re legally authorized to work in the United States.
Foreign nationals who are legally authorized under federal law to work in the United States or any foreign national who “is an individual against whom immigration action has been deferred by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services under the federal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) process” but who is authorized to possess a firearm can now apply to become a police officer in Illinois, according to the text of the bill.
Federal law states that only U.S. citizens can serve as police officers and deputies but laws and legislative efforts in a number of states have changed that in the face of staffing shortages.
Any guess which states are having “staffing shortages”?
The biggest police union in Illinois calls it a “potential crisis of confidence in law enforcement.” You bet it is — just as the Leftists have planned. It’s just the capstone atop demonizing and defunding the police at every turn since St. George Floyd died of drug induced stress after trying to pass a forged $20 at his local Cup Foods for a pack of cigarettes in May 2020.
The Chicago Police Department (CPD), alongside many other departments across the United States, is hemorrhaging officers faster than it can find qualified applicants. Data suggests that the CPD has lost more than 3,300 officers and staff between 2019 and 2022, but has hired just 1,600 people to fill vacancies after a wave of quits by officers demoralized by the anti-police riots and calls to “defund the police” in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death.
Now that the anarchists’ have achieved their cause célèbre and Democrat-run cities are dealing with a shortage of officers and out-of-control crime — like Chicago — what better way to replenish their forces than with illegal aliens who will do the jobs Americans aren’t allowed to do, like enforce the law?
Perfect!
Not only are Illinois elites ignoring federal law, precedent, and common sense, but they’re giving the big double-barreled middle fingers to the citizens.
Can you imagine an armed foreigner pulling you over and demanding to see your license and registration? How about arresting you for demonstrating outside an abortion clinic, now that Pritzker has also signed into law the “Deceptive Practices of Limited Services Pregnancy Centers Act” targets crisis pregnancy centers using “deception, misinformation, or misrepresentation to interfere with access to abortion services or emergency contraception.” Of course, what any of that means is left ambiguous, not to mention that abortion service providers are exempt from the law.
The new policing law, which gives to non-citizens the power of law enforcement over American citizens, turns any sense of civic order on its head. It would be as if I moved to Spain and was given the power and the authority — a gun and a badge — over the nationals themselves without being a citizen myself. Imagine how offensive that would be to native Spaniards.
Well, same here. It’s like outsourcing law enforcement to the U.N.
Giving foreigners a gun and a badge is not only offensive, but it is troubling, too. If J.B. Pritzker and his minions in the Illinois government are willing to flaunt federal law in favor of non-citizens, what other laws are they willing to flaunt? If a foreigner makes an error in enforcing the law, will the Illinois system of justice favor the non-citizen or the citizen?
If you have to ask, you haven’t been paying attention.
During the debates on the Senate floor in May, Sen. Chapin Rose (R-Mahomet) said, “To hand the power to arrest and detain a citizen of this state, or a citizen of any state in the United States, to a noncitizen is a fundamental breach of democracy. It is antithetical to the police power of any state.”
Giving people who do not have legal status to become the enforcers of U.S. laws also diminishes the citizenship of native Americans, and I don’t mean American Indians. What does citizenship mean if a foreigner can exercise authority over a natural citizen?
