Daily Broadside | All the Single (Chinese) Men Put Your Hands Up

There’s never a shortage of outrageous topics to choose from to write about when I review the news every day. Everything from the latest prosecution persecution of Donald J. Trump to the latest tale of corruption and scandal of Resident Brandon and his corrupt progeny to the latest attempts of the far-leftists to mis-educate our children to the administration selling off unused parts of the border wall to the woke nonsense that likely led to the Maui wildfires that killed dozens and destroyed an entire town.

But the one that deserves your attention today happens out of sight, is under-reported, and could be a serious national security threat to the United States.

Border Patrol agents recorded a roughly 800% increase in Chinese migrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border illegally, according to federal data updated Friday.

There were roughly 17,678 illegal migrant encounters of Chinese nationals between October 2022 and July, compared to 1,970 in all of fiscal year 2022, according to the data. In March, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sent a memo exclusively obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation to agency officials warning of a surge in Chinese migrants.

Chinese immigrants? Coming over the southern border? That seems rather indirect.

Apparently, some of them claim to be escaping religious persecution, specifically those who are Chinese Christians.

“According to CBP, custodial interviews indicate that Chinese citizens are requesting asylum claiming religious persecution by the Chinese Government due to their Christian faith. Additionally, Chinese nationals reportedly make their own smuggling arrangements for most of their journey, only utilizing elements of smuggling networks to cross the border,” the memo stated.

I’d be one of the first to welcome Chinese Christians to the U.S., but I still think they should be crossing the border legally, at formal checkpoints. In fact, this claim makes me scratch my head a little bit, because Chinese Christians are known for faithfully meeting in secret house churches in spite of the persecution they experience. I’m not saying there aren’t any that try to escape to the U.S., but a “surge” doesn’t seem to be in keeping with what is known about the underground church in China.

Another report quoted Dr. Kenneth Allard, a retired Army Colonel and former Dean of Students at the National War College.

“Totalitarian governments like China are great exploiters of opportunity,” Dr. Allard told Breitbart. “They recognize weakness and capitalize on it immediately. What we are seeing reflects a deliberate policy choice by the regime.”

When asked about the potential for China to take advantage of the current crisis along the southern border, Allard says the regime most certainly recognizes the weakness President Biden has exhibited on the international stage, adding “its obvious he is not entirely in control at present, China realizes that as well.”

What little information that is retrieved from the migrants would indicate most are fleeing the repressive regime due to the aftereffects of the extreme COVID-19 lockdowns imposed by Xi Jinping’s government. Another reason cited by the migrants is the negative economic effects of China’s strict COVID-19 policies regarding the exportation and importation of goods.

One of the most worrisome aspects of the surge in Chinese immigrants is that the majority of them seem to be single adult men. It is the same concern that we observed early on in the migrant caravan crisis, that so many of the migrants were single young men.

Nearly three-quarters of those in the caravan of Central American migrants traveling through Mexico to the United States are adult men, a senior Border Patrol official told the Washington Examiner.

Families and unaccompanied children make up “about 20 to 30 percent” of the caravan, according to Roy Villareal, deputy chief patrol agent of the Border Patrol’s San Diego Sector.

“The rest of that is single, adult males,” Villareal said during a recent tour of the region.

I don’t have any evidence that any of the young adult Chinese males are here on a nefarious mission, but why aren’t we being more cautious? Why do we put up with the erasure of our southern border? Why do we open ourselves up to the possible threat of sabotage from one of our greatest enemies militarily and economically?

For all we know they’re sending carriers of some new disease cooked up in a Chinese lab.

Daily Broadside | There’s “No Evidence” of Voter Fraud Until There Is

Most of us who supported Trump in 2020, and plenty of those who opposed him, believe that there’s enough evidence of voter fraud to invalidate that election, but we’re constantly told that there’s NO EVIDENCE of fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

On Thursday, former Trump administration General Counsel Personnel Police Operations Andrew Kloster joined Steve Bannon on The War Room to discuss the Muskegon, Michigan 2020 voter fraud scandal.

Andrew Kloster said he notified Bill Barr’s DOJ – and Barr and his cronies smacked him down and killed the investigation.

The investigation had been buried by politicians, government investigators and the press.

On October 8, 2020, only one month before the 2020 general election, Muskegon, MI City Clerk Ann Meisch noticed a black female, whose name was later redacted from the police report, dropping off between 8,000-10,000 completed voter registration applications at the city clerk’s office. Clerk Meisch immediately noticed that the stacks of registrations included the same handwriting, non-existent addresses, and incorrect phone numbers.

The Muskegon Police Department was contacted and asked to investigate. On 10/21/20 First Lieutenant Mike Anderson was contacted by Tom Fabus, Chief of Investigations for Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel’s Office. According to the MI State Police report, Fabus asked for Michigan State Police assistance with a joint investigation of alleged voter fraud being conducted by the Muskegon Police Department and the AG.

An investigative task force was formed, and an investigation was initiated.

During their investigation, the state police discovered the women worked for GBI Strategies. This was included in their police report. The group had temporary offices in numerous Michigan locations. The police also identified Gary Bell as the head of the organization.

You know why there’s no evidence of fraud? Because most of it has gotten ignored or swept aside for long enough that people have lost interest or think it no longer makes any difference.

What ended up happening is my understanding, I reached out and spoke with some local law enforcement. What happened was there was a woman, my understanding is basically loitering outside of a dropbox all day, and she gets picked up by a junior guy and arrested because he’s like, what are you doing? You’re stuffing this box. What’s going on? So they arrest her, and she basically spills the beans. She’s a democratic operative. She’s got filled-out ballots, like 7000 is what I was hearing, and they arrested her. Now, the senior guy, my understanding was off at the time. So the junior guy who picked her up, got her statement and released her, and she went back to Detroit… She went back to Detroit. The senior guy comes back in the next day or later in the day and says, what the know? You had her dead to rights. Why did you release her? And starts trying to get an extradition order from Detroit, because this is before the election. We’re hearing there could be voter fraud. And here you’ve got someone basically copping to it and caught with her hand in the cookie jar.

If you have time, I encourage you to listen to the entire conversation, and especially Andrew Kloster’s comment about Bill Barr. Barr was supposed to be this paragon of integrity and experience who would lend great credibility to Trump’s administration.

The signals I got both through the White House and through the Department of Justice and through the careers at the Department of Justice, was, it was the same story over and over and over again: “Leadership is not interested in this. We’re not even going to make a phone call.”

There’s plenty of evidence; there’s just no will to pursue it.

Daily Broadside | I Should’a Been A Truck Driver

I had the unfortunate development of a head cold and sore throat after this weekend. I missed yesterday and I’m still not at 100 percent, so today’s post is a short one. Hope to be back to normal by end of the week.

One of my uncles drove truck for BASF for 21 years after starting as a technical illustrator. He made more money driving a rig than he did drawing, but I’ll bet even he wouldn’t believe the amount of money that UPS drivers are now making.

After the Teamsters union secured a win guaranteeing that UPS delivery drivers would make $170,000 in salary and benefits by the end of a 5-year period, people in tech and other white-collar workers had a lot to say about it. As the wife of a UPS driver, so do I.

Let’s start with the facts. The $170,000 is not a base salary — it takes into consideration healthcare and pension benefits. But that’s not even what bothers me most about people’s reactions, which range from wondering why drivers would make that much money to calling them overpaid and undeserving.

I really want people to think about why they believe UPS workers don’t deserve to be fairly compensated. It seems like a lot of it has to do with the snobbery white-collar workers feel toward blue-collar workers. I’m a hairdresser so I see it in my work, too. Some people just feel like they’re better than us and that we don’t deserve nice things or stability.

What’s remarkable is that this UPS driver’s wife goes on and on to justify his salary and benefits, criticizing white collar workers, CEOs and capitalism. None of her reasons truly “justify” that salary and benefits package. It just “is” and good for them.

It would behoove people who are blessed with such material wealth to be thankful for it and stay quiet.

But that’s just me.

Daily Broadside | The US Ship of State is Swamped and in Danger of Sinking

I hate to miss posting, but this past week was absolutely packed with activity. One of the little’s is getting married this fall, and there were all kinds of tasks associated with hosting guests and putting on a bridal shower that was a beautiful event for all involved. We’re getting to know the future in-laws and some of their extended family, too. I’m slightly more of an introvert than extrovert so expending that much energy with so many people tends to deplete my reserves and will take some time for me to rebound.

But I couldn’t not post with all that’s going on in this bizarre country called the United States of America. At one time the envy of the world, it has been twisted into a grotesque, unrecognizable parody of itself, claiming all the virtues of a free society but acting like a third-world banana republic.

We’re being led by a doddering, angry, dementia-riddled, imbecilic fabulist whose natural language is lying. He’s bought and owned by the Chinese, the Russians and the Ukranians. He’s done nothing worth remembering in his fifty years in government, but we will remember him because of the immense damage he’s inflicted on the economy, politics and the culture in the two-plus years he’s been in office.

Our political elites have weaponized the Constitution and are conducting open lawfare on the previous president while ignoring the crimes of the current one and his family. Lawfare is even being conducted at the state level against conservative politicians, like Texas AG Ken Paxton.

We’re being swarmed with some 7 million foreigners who have crossed our non-existant border illegally without vetting and are actually shlepped around the country to large “santuary” cities, so much so that even hard-left mayors are complaining that they can’t handle the influx and are now asking citizens to open their homes to the invaders.

The Chinese float spy balloons over mainland US with impunity and are apparently behind an illegal biolab full of diseased mice, pathogens, blood, coronavirus, HIV, hepatitis and herpes and other infectious agents that was operating in secret without a permit in California, and an illegal police station in New York City to hunt down Chinese dissidents. We’re dependent on China for our pharmaceuticals. It’s shameful embarrassment to our sovereignty and safety.

The chucklehead in the White House printed $4 trillion and set off the worst inflation in 40 years. Interest rates have tripled and gas prices are doubled.

Our cities, once the envy and destination of the world, are turning into third-world $#!+holes full of crime and drugs, homelessness and death. Stores and businesses are closing because it’s unsafe to operate in those fetid markets.

Americans are fleeing “blue” states to “red” states in an effort to escape the insanity that progressives have unleashed in their states. We’re segregating ourselves into “rational” and “irrational” populations — and it depends on which one you identify with that shapes your definition of “rational.”

Our military is more interested in being woke than in being prepared as evidenced by dismal recruiting that has left us thousands of soldiers short. In addition, we are short on munitions and are far behind China in naval readiness.

As Victor Davis Hanson writes,

We are in the midst of one of the most radical revolutions in American history. It is as far-reaching and dangerous as the turbulent years of the 1850s and 1860s or the 1930s. Every aspect of American life and culture is under assault, including the very processes by which we govern ourselves, and the manner in which we live.

The Revolution began under the Obama administration that sought to divide Americans into oppressed and oppressors, and then substitute race for class victimization. It was empowered by the bicoastal wealth accrued from globalization, and honed during the COVID lockdown, quarantine-fed economic downturn, and the George Floyd riots and their aftermath. The Revolution was boosted by fanatic opposition to the presidency of Donald Trump. And the result is an America that is unrecognizable from what it was a mere decade ago.

There’s little that one person can do to fight the assault on our way of life. It will take a critical mass of citizens who have decided they’ve had enough and are ready to fight — and sacrifice for — the survival of America.

Daily Broadside | Woke Scold Leads U.S. Team to Early Exit — and Americans Cheer the Loss

This week is going to be light on posts due to family obligations.

For as long as I can remember, I have been proud of my country and proud of being an American. I don’t know how I “got” it, but from a young age I seem to have had a sense of how great our country was in the history of the world. I remember decorating my banana-seat bike with handmade decorations for the July 4 bicentennial celebration in 1976 and riding up and down the neighborhood street, proud to display my patriotism.

Some of the most moving memories I have are when American teams dominated competitions against other countries, like in the Olympics or in international competitions for a specific sport. For instance, I remember when the American hockey team beat the Russians for the gold in the “Miracle on Ice” at Lake Placid in the 1980 Olympics, one of the greatest upsets in sports history.

Still gives me chills.

The guys on that team were our standard-bearers, the heroes of our country, for being the upstart David against the seasoned Goliath. Jim Craig, Mike Eruzione, Mark Johnson, Rob McClanahan — they did us proud, and we all celebrated with them as they defeated our arch nemesis. I’ll never forget the sheer joy of that moment and the unbridled pride associated with it.

My patriotism has been so consistently strong that recently, while I didn’t actively root against an American team, I found myself cynically hoping that one would lose. Why? Because the team I’m thinking of has been infected with woke nonsense that leads them to stupidly complain from their privileged platform about how terrible America is, while kneeling and refusing to sing the National Anthem.

The perennial top-ranked team in the world and two-time defending champion, which was trying to win a record third cup in a row and an unprecedented fifth overall, was eliminated by Sweden in a pulsating match that needed 120 minutes of play in the field and a record seven rounds of penalty kicks before Sweden prevailed, 5-4.

Sweden, ranked No. 3 in the world, advanced to face Japan in the quarterfinals Friday.

For the U.S. women, it was their earliest exit in the 32-year history of the World Cup, having advanced to at least every semifinals before this distinctly devastating disappointment.

Now, the USWNT is left with many questions about itself and the direction it takes from here.

Good. Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving group of females. The attitude and disrespect for citizens like me (after all, what is a country but its people?) who love this country has soured a lot of us on their team.

Most glorious of all is the karma-like exit for Meghan Rapinoe, the blue-haired lesbian activist (who some say bullied other players into kneeling for the national anthem) leaves the game with an embarassing performance on a clutch play — a penalty kick — that with her experience should have been as natural as tying her boots.

I don’t revel in her humiliation. What I enjoy is that her failure diminishes her stature as an anti-American voice. If she had been the heroine of the game, scoring on that kick and thereby winning the game, she would have been fêted and given a platform from which she could spew her anti-America garbage. This way, she’ll be asked about how it felt to lose the game for the team.

I joke. No one’s going to ask her that.

But they will ask her about the loss and how it felt to choke and the pressure. Any interview she does will be from a position of failure, not success. And while she has had a stellar career that will maintain her credibility, she will always walk under the shadow of going out a loser. And no one cares what you say if you don’t perform.

She humiliated the country with her woke garbage and now she has to live with her own personal humiliation. Not that I expect it will humble her at all.

Women’s soccer star Megan Rapinoe, who has been accused of poisoning her teammates with her toxic attitude, was lambasted by critics after she missed a crucial penalty kick that resulted in the US team being eliminated from the World Cup and then laughing about it.

Rapinoe, a notorious “woke” scold, was playing in what would be the final game of her illustrious career, and in a defining moment when she could have come through for her teammates and the country, the 38-year-old lesbian not only completely missed the net on the free kick, but was caught by the cameras snickering about it before crying as her defeated team walked off of the playing field in Melbourne, Australia.

You know what they say. Get woke, go broke.

And good riddance.

If they’re smart, the team recalibrates now that Rapinoe’s gone and they contemplate the “many questions about itself and the direction it takes from here.”

Maybe they can start with love of country.

It’s no secret that our country is descending into lawlessness what with George Soros DAs refusing to enforce the law evenly or even at all in many lefty cities. The worst of it are criminals who simply walk into a business of some kind and shamelessly steal products without batting an eye.

Here’s a story about Dale Hardware in Fremont in California’s Bay Area, whose owner’s grandfather started the business in 1955. Guess how much they’ve lost in the last year?

We’re flirting with anarchy and it’s anybody’s guess how much your average citizen is going to take before taking matters into their own hands.

We’re starting to see hints that we’re reaching a breaking point.

Daily Broadside | Terrorist Attack in Heartland Gets Virtually No Coverage

In the early 2010s I started warning my Facebook community to pay attention to the occasional attacks by Islamic jihadis in America. Most of them were lone wolf attacks, like the attempted car bombing in Times Square in 2010, or the beheading in Oklahoma in 2014, or the multiple stabbings in Minnesota in 2016, or the one in New York in 2023.

There’s lots more like those, but generally, you don’t hear about jihadi attacks that often. You’d think that if there were one, you’d hear about it.

At a news conference on Wednesday, North Dakota authorities said that the shooter responsible for the death of a Fargo Police Department officer and the injury of two other officers used 1,800 rounds of ammunition, a grenade and other explosives to unleash a “murderous barrage of fire.”

Mohamad Barakat, 37, was fatally shot by Officer Zachary Robinson, 31, authorities said. Officer Jake Wallin, 23, was killed, while officers Andrew Dotas, 28, and Tyler Hawes, 22, were critically injured. A woman was also shot, but authorities have not said who shot her.Fargo’s police chief has said Barakat’s motive was unclear.

“In the wake of Mohamad Barakat’s murderous, unprovoked attack, Officer Zach Robinson’s use of deadly force was reasonable, it was necessary, it was justified, and in all ways, it was lawful,” North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley told reporters. “Mohamad Barakat engaged in a savage attack. … He unleashed what can only be described fairly as a murderous barrage of fire. But that isn’t to say it wasn’t precise. In fact, it was.”

Did you know that an Islamic jihadist attack had happened? No? You’re not alone.

It’s all been hush-hush.

In the week since the July 14 attack took place, authorities have resisted providing any specifics about the Muslim terrorist or his motive. Flag Family Media, a local radio station, had its request for information about Mohamad because it had already all been turned over to the FBI.

Mohamad’s neighbors in the Fargo housing complex claimed that he was quiet and refused to interact with them. “He didn’t want to be around you and of course that made you not want to be around him.”

Why then was Mohamad in America? As previously revealed by a Front Page Magazine investigation, decades of aggressive refugee resettlement has fundamentally changed the face of this quintessentially American city. 8% of Fargo is foreign born and Somalis, Iraqis and other Muslim refugees outnumber Hispanics in the school system. The nearby mega-mosque, blocks from where Mohamad carried out his attack, and Muslim businesses attracts other arrivals.

Our best boys at the FBI interviewed Mohamad in 2021 but didn’t see any threat.

The heavily armed man who killed one Fargo police officer and wounded two as they were investigating a traffic stop earlier this month had been interviewed about his guns in 2021 after the FBI received a tip, but it was determined he had done nothing illegal and no further action was taken, authorities said Thursday.

In a statement in response to questions from The Associated Press, the FBI and Fargo Police Department said the FBI received an anonymous tip about Mohamad Barakat in July 2021 in which the tipster expressed concern about Barakat’s mental state, saying he had access to a “significant number of firearms” and had used threatening language.

But no worries! He hasn’t done anything illegal — yet. Besides, we’ve got Trump to frame and sidewalk counselors at abortion clinics to harass and they haven’t done anything illegal either!

All I’ll say is that our so-called “leaders” haven’t learned anything about the nature of Islamic jihadists or, if they have, don’t want to face it because it causes tension over their goals of diversity, inclusion and equity (DIE).

Pay attention.

Daily Broadside | Leftist Lunacy in Illinois Gives Foreigners Policing Powers

Of all the insanity and intentionally destructive acts of the anarchists who hate America and the rule of law, I give you Illinois Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzger’s latest defilement of common sense and respect for the citizens of this formerly great country.

Illinois Gov. Jay Robert Pritzker has signed into law a bill allowing non-citizens to become police officers over the objection of the biggest police union in the state, which called it a “potential crisis of confidence in law enforcement.”

Mr. Pritzker signed HB3751 into law on July 28, allowing non-citizens to apply to become police officers in Illinois with immediate effect, provided that they’re legally authorized to work in the United States.

Foreign nationals who are legally authorized under federal law to work in the United States or any foreign national who “is an individual against whom immigration action has been deferred by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services under the federal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) process” but who is authorized to possess a firearm can now apply to become a police officer in Illinois, according to the text of the bill.

Federal law states that only U.S. citizens can serve as police officers and deputies but laws and legislative efforts in a number of states have changed that in the face of staffing shortages.

Any guess which states are having “staffing shortages”?

The biggest police union in Illinois calls it a “potential crisis of confidence in law enforcement.” You bet it is — just as the Leftists have planned. It’s just the capstone atop demonizing and defunding the police at every turn since St. George Floyd died of drug induced stress after trying to pass a forged $20 at his local Cup Foods for a pack of cigarettes in May 2020.

The Chicago Police Department (CPD), alongside many other departments across the United States, is hemorrhaging officers faster than it can find qualified applicants. Data suggests that the CPD has lost more than 3,300 officers and staff between 2019 and 2022, but has hired just 1,600 people to fill vacancies after a wave of quits by officers demoralized by the anti-police riots and calls to “defund the police” in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death.

Now that the anarchists’ have achieved their cause célèbre and Democrat-run cities are dealing with a shortage of officers and out-of-control crime — like Chicago — what better way to replenish their forces than with illegal aliens who will do the jobs Americans aren’t allowed to do, like enforce the law?

Perfect!

Not only are Illinois elites ignoring federal law, precedent, and common sense, but they’re giving the big double-barreled middle fingers to the citizens.

Can you imagine an armed foreigner pulling you over and demanding to see your license and registration? How about arresting you for demonstrating outside an abortion clinic, now that Pritzker has also signed into law the “Deceptive Practices of Limited Services Pregnancy Centers Act” targets crisis pregnancy centers using “deception, misinformation, or misrepresentation to interfere with access to abortion services or emergency contraception.” Of course, what any of that means is left ambiguous, not to mention that abortion service providers are exempt from the law.

The new policing law, which gives to non-citizens the power of law enforcement over American citizens, turns any sense of civic order on its head. It would be as if I moved to Spain and was given the power and the authority — a gun and a badge — over the nationals themselves without being a citizen myself. Imagine how offensive that would be to native Spaniards.

Well, same here. It’s like outsourcing law enforcement to the U.N.

Giving foreigners a gun and a badge is not only offensive, but it is troubling, too. If J.B. Pritzker and his minions in the Illinois government are willing to flaunt federal law in favor of non-citizens, what other laws are they willing to flaunt? If a foreigner makes an error in enforcing the law, will the Illinois system of justice favor the non-citizen or the citizen?

If you have to ask, you haven’t been paying attention.

Some Illinois Republicans pushed back on the bill, but only seven out of 40 House Republicans in the 118-member chamber opposed the amended bill after it passed the Senate 37-20.

During the debates on the Senate floor in May, Sen. Chapin Rose (R-Mahomet) said, “To hand the power to arrest and detain a citizen of this state, or a citizen of any state in the United States, to a noncitizen is a fundamental breach of democracy. It is antithetical to the police power of any state.”

Giving people who do not have legal status to become the enforcers of U.S. laws also diminishes the citizenship of native Americans, and I don’t mean American Indians. What does citizenship mean if a foreigner can exercise authority over a natural citizen?

If we’re giving police power to a non-citizen, what’s next? Can a non-citizen run for elected office? Why not? Pritzker has already given illegals driver’s licenses and has considered giving them some limited voting rights.

I have an idea. Let’s have a non-citizen run for governor to replace J.B. Pritzker.

He also testified that Burisma wanted Hunter Biden on their board because Biden’s “brand” would help them be successful.

Former Hunter Biden business partner Devon Archer told Congress Monday that Hunter referred to President Biden as “my guy” while connecting his dad to foreign associates nearly two dozen times — as Republicans move closer to starting an impeachment inquiry.

Archer said during a four-hour House Oversight Committee interview that Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings paid Hunter up to $1 million per year to serve on its board because of his family’s “brand.”

Archer met with then-Vice President Joe Biden in April 2014, within days of joining Burisma’s board alongside Hunter, and told lawmakers that “Burisma would have gone out of business if ‘the brand’ had not been attached to it,” according to a readout from panel Republicans.

You know what a “brand” is? Most people think of it as a logo, but a brand encompasses the entire experience that a consumer has with a company or a product or, in some cases, a person. It’s essentially the personality of the product or business with a distinct identity and its own unique attributes, all from the consumer’s perspective.

Now, when it comes to Joe Biden, I can’t imagine that’s the definition of “brand” they’re using. If that were the definition, it wouldn’t be a benefit to have him associated with a company like Burisma.

Joe Biden’s “brand” is smarmy moron and stair-tripping fool. Or in the words of B. Hussein Obama, “don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f*** things up.” That’s Biden’s brand.

What the founder of Burisma was after wasn’t so much brand, but name recognition and power. If the vice-president of the United States, Joe Biden, was associated with Burisma, it would lend an air of credibility (and intimidation) that might advance their business. They could boast that they had a Biden on board.

Hunter Biden’s business partner Devon Archer told Congress in bombshell testimony the ‘Biden brand’ helped keep Ukrainian firm Burisma from going bankrupt and revealed Joe was on the phone or present in-person at least 20 times while his son who called him ‘my guy’ was talking with foreign associates.

Republicans claim Archer’s testimony added to mounting evidence that the then-Vice President was involved in Hunter’s overseas deals that raked in millions from nations including China and Romania. Democrats claimed the phone calls were innocent and did not involve business.  

Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., confirmed Archer told the House Oversight Committee that Joe had been on speakerphone multiple times while his son was talking with business partners – but insisted they were talking about ‘niceties’ like talking about ‘the weather, “what’s going on?”‘

Yeah, see, Hunter just included his dad — the “big guy” — on his business calls just to say “Hi.”

Goldman also contended that Joe Biden’s interactions with his son’s partners were innocent.

“He described what the weather was,” Goldman said of the president’s role in foreign business relationships. “It’s kind of a preposterous premise to think that a father should not say hello to people that the son is at dinner with, and that’s literally all the evidence is.”

But former FBI official Chris Swecker, who led the bureau’s criminal investigations division from 2004 to 2006, said that things didn’t look good for President Biden, noting the many alleged speakerphone calls.

“As head of the criminal division, we saw this quite a bit in bribery cases, it’s called stream of services,” Swecker told Fox News as Archer left Capitol Hill.

“You sell access or something of value and you get something back in return, but it’s not an express quid pro quo. It’s just an understanding, but if you can match up the services within a reasonable period of time — with the thing of benefit, in this case, $10 million, or whatever it is — then you then you have bribery,” Swecker said.

It’s about time that the Biden’s were scrutinized over their malfeasance. If all goes well, their will be an impeachment inquiry. Of course, that leaves us with the prospect of that cackling nightmare, Kamala Harris.

Daily Broadside | Archer Will Testify If He Isn’t Suicided Or Arrested Before Monday

It’s hard to even pretend to be shocked by anything the Resident and his team of mobsters do these days, especially when it comes the Department of Just Us, where any reference to the rule of law and the constitution have been scrubbed when it comes to blindfolded application.

On Monday, Hunter Biden’s former business partner Devon Archer is set to testify before the House Oversight Committee to expose Joe Biden’s involvement in Hunter’s foreign business dealings. The Biden administration is doing everything possible to prevent that from happening.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is attempting to arrest Archer on unrelated charges mere hours before his scheduled testimony. On Saturday, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York issued a request to trial judge Ronnie Abrams to compel Archer to surrender to authorities.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer was asked about this development on Sunday, during an appearance on Fox News.

“I have in my hand a letter from the Department of Justice that was sent to the Southern District of New York on Saturday,” host Maria Bartiromo began. “By the way, Devon Archer is testifying on Monday — do you ever see … the DOJ send letters like this out on a Saturday?”

“Never, never,” Comer replied. “This is the first time I’ve ever heard of the Department of Justice doing anything on a Saturday.”

When it comes to protecting the Regime, Saturdays are a must. And you must respect the Regime.

“We are aware of speculation that the Department of Justice’s weekend request to have Mr. Archer report to prison is an attempt by the Biden administration to intimidate him in advance of his meeting with the House Oversight Committee,” Schwartz said in a statement, per Politico.

“To be clear, Mr. Archer does not agree with that speculation,” Schwartz added. “In any case, Mr. Archer will do what he has planned to do all along, which is to show up on Monday and to honestly answer the questions that are put to him by the Congressional investigators.”

No sense in getting Epsteined if you don’t need to. Assuming he lives to testify, what will Archer say?

Hunter Biden would dial in his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, on speakerphone into meetings with his overseas business partners, according to testimony expected before Congress this week from Devon Archer, the first son’s former best friend. 

Archer, 48, who is facing jail for his role in a $60 million bond fraud, is scheduled to testify to the House Oversight Committee about meetings he witnessed that were attended by Joe Biden either in person or via speakerphone when Hunter would call his father and introduce him to foreign business partners or prospective investors. 

“We are looking forward very much to hearing from Devon Archer about all the times he has witnessed Joe Biden meeting with Hunter Biden’s overseas business partners when he was vice president, including on speakerphone,” said Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the committee chairman. 

Trying to have a hostile witness arrested and jailed before testifying is sheer intimidation tactics used by communist governments the world over. And now by our government here, in the former United States of America. I don’t know what it is now, but it’s not the America that I grew up in.

The walls may be closing in on Brandon, but I’m not confident that he’ll suffer any consequences. As John Kass, the former Chicago Tribune columnist put it,

Remember that for years the Democrats and their media lickspittles have insisted–and Joe Biden has himself stated emphatically and publicly before the last presidential election, that he knew nothing of his son Hunter’s shady overseas business deals. Of course he knew.

He was the muscle. And Hunter, like his Uncle Jim before him, was the bagman. The guy who carried the treasure to “The Big Guy” or “President Ten Percent.”

Those of you who know Chicago know how this works–The Delaware Way is the American Way is the Chicago Way. And how do you keep the suckers from ‘beefing’ or ‘complaining?’ You control the media to suppress problematic facts. And do they ever control it.

Now you understand why the Democrat Media Complex was so furious with voters after the mid-term elections. They would be exposed. All the rocks would be turned over. There were no moist corners in which to hide.

The great heavyweight champion Joe Louis had a saying, “They can run but they can’t hide.” Eventually they’d be trapped and take a public beating.

I’d like to think that  is true, but the difference being that there is a great political machine between Biden and his opposition. They protect Biden and take the punches for him and then counter-attack with deadly vengeance, and as long as there are low-information voters out there (i.e. stupid, easily manipulated voters) who don’t read and don’t pay attention. These are the true chumbolones who steadily consume corrupt media the way diabetics guzzle soda-pop. And it is through this stupidity–most of it demonstrated by Democrats during big-city elections, that guys like Joe and Hunter Biden are protected and saved.

A thoroughly corrupt “president” presiding over a thoroughly corrupt administrative state, with a thoroughly corrupt son who took money to fuel his drug and whoring habits with “ten percent to the Big Guy.”

They deserve to be taken down, and hard.
