Daily Broadside | Super Tuesday Goes To Trump And Occupant of White House

No big surprises here.

Trump wins everything except Vermont, while Utah hasn’t been called yet as I put this post to bed (along with me). Haley should be dropping out shortly.

The one surprising and (slightly) hopeful development is that California Republican Steve Garvey (former Major League Baseball player) wins in the jungle primary (usually it’s two Democrats running for the seat). The downside is that it’s likely that the Dems pushed Garvey over the line so that it’ll be a clear decision in November: Democrat v. Republican, and therefore an easier win for Schiff-for-Brains.

Tomorrow’s post will get your blood boiling.

Daily Broadside | Tit for Tat is No Way to Go Through Life, Kevin — But It’ll Do For Now

Middle of the week and there’s a flurry of activity in the House as Kevin McLuntz (LOL thanks to J.J. Sefton over at Ace of Spades) works the list of promises he made to get and keep the gavel. Unlike the IRS defunding bill that doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance of surviving Daytona Beach at noon in the middle of July of being passed by the Senate, much less signed by the Resident, his promised next move is entirely within his control and will produce immediate results.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy confirmed late Monday that he will make good on his pre-midterm pledge to remove three high-profile Democrats — Reps. Adam Schiff, Eric Swalwell and Ilhan Omar — from their House committees.

McCarthy (R-Calif.) told the Associated Press that he would move to strip the trio of their assignments, following through on a vow of payback for Democrats ousting Reps. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) from their panels during the last Congress.

Schiff and Swalwell, both from California, would be removed from the House Intelligence Committee while Minnesota’s Omar would be kicked off the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

McCarthy vowed almost exactly a year ago that he would remove the three Democrats if Republicans won back the House in the 2022 midterm elections, and repeated that promise last November after his prediction was realized.

They call it “payback” and it’ll be spun as revenge, but the truth is that the Democrats — especially San Fran Nan — started this tactic in the last Congress. Omar was quick to denounce his plan to demote her. “I think it would be hypocritic [sic] for him to remove, you know, the first African born on subcommittee on Africa on the Foreign Affairs Committee, where I’ve had the opportunity to not only represent my constituents but the voice of so many people who have never had a voice on the Foreign Affairs Committee.”

It’s so sad all those people on the African continent have never had a voice on the Foreign Affairs Committee.

McCarthy offered his reasoning for revoking their committee assignments.

“Eric Swalwell cannot get a security clearance in the public sector,” McCarthy told Fox News’s Maria Bartiromo at the time. “Why would we ever give him a security clearance and the secrets to America? So, I will not allow him to be on Intel.”

Schiff, meanwhile, “lied to the American public time and again,” McCarthy said, while Omar has made “anti-Semitic comments.”

Not to mention that Swalwell slept with Chinese spy “Fang Fang” and threatened to nuke a fellow American, while Adam Schiff lied through is teeth about Trump and took part in sandbagging the former president through a sham impeachment process, twice. And Ilhan Omar is credibly accused of marrying her own brother in order to help him get a green card to stay in the U.S.

I’m totally in favor of stripping these three compromised anti-Americans from their posts.

See, when Democrats break precedent, it’s to protect our precious democracy (*ptooie*) from white supremacist domestic terrorists; when Republicans do it, they’re destroying our precious norms and institutions (*ptooie*). We can’t go on like this. Like Trump said, we have to punch back twice as hard and make life as miserable for the hard left as we can while we take back political territory that we’ve conceded. It is, as Andrew Breitbart said, “War!”

Wednesday and where do I start? Sandy Hook and Remington? Thousands of invalidated baptisms? The 30 Democrats leaving the House at the end of this term? The BLM supporter who tried to assassinate a mayoral candidate in Kentucky?

Nah.

Let’s go with the most recent developments in the RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA! collusion narrative that the Democrats and MSMSNBCNN alliance reported on pushed for years — that President Trump was a RUSSIAN agent and puppet of Putin and he was selling the United States out to RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA! and our precious democracy was in Danger, Danger, Will Robinson!

It was all a lie, just as we knew it was.

Special Counsel John Durham continues to unravel the Trump-Russia “collusion” story, and his latest court disclosure contains startling information. According to a Friday court filing, the 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign effort to compile dirt on Donald Trump reached into protected White House communications.

According to Fox News:

Lawyers for the Clinton campaign paid a technology company to “infiltrate” servers belonging to Trump Tower, and later the White House, in order to establish an “inference” and “narrative” to bring to government agencies linking Donald Trump to Russia, a filing from Special Counsel John Durham found.

The tech company had privileged access to the servers which held non-public data. In other words, they were paid to exploit their access to private, non-public, secure information in the hopes of finding dirt on Trump.

Durham’s filing states that in July 2016, the tech executive worked with Sussmann, a U.S. investigative firm retained by Law Firm 1 on behalf of the Clinton campaign, numerous cyber researchers and employees at multiple internet companies to “assemble the purported data and white papers.”

“In connection with these efforts, Tech Executive-1 exploited his access to non-public and/or proprietary Internet data,” the filing states. “Tech Executive-1 also enlisted the assistance of researchers at a U.S.-based university who were receiving and analyzing large amounts of Internet data in connection with a pending federal government cybersecurity research contract.”

“Tech Executive-1 tasked these researchers to mine Internet data to establish ‘an inference’ and ‘narrative’ tying then-candidate Trump to Russia,” Durham states. “In doing so, Tech Executive-1 indicated that he was seeking to please certain ‘VIPs,’ referring to individuals at Law Firm-1 and the Clinton campaign.”

This after years of smears coming from the likes of Adam Schiff-for-Brains who claimed that “he has seen ‘more than circumstantial evidence’ of a Trump-Putin conspiracy” … a truly delusional and lying piece of Schiff. Don’t forget MSNBC’s star, Rachel Maddow, who was “the most prominent TV host to push the Russia collusion narrative.“

Fox News’s Gregg Jarrett, who wrote a book about the hoax, “Witch Hunt,” writes,

The stunning revelation that lawyers for the Hillary Clinton campaign paid a computer technology company to surveil a sitting president, Donald Trump, shows that more than half a dozen crimes may have been committed to advance the false accusation that he colluded with Russia.

It’s likely true that no one of any importance will get jail time for this, least of all Clinton.

As with any well organized criminal exercise, it is exceedingly difficult to nab the person at the top. Hillary Clinton is no different.  She carried out her machinations in smart and clever ways. She had others do her dirty work for her and maintained a distance separated through an elaborate chain of people. It was akin to a money laundering scheme, except dirty information was being washed.

Unless people in the chain break their silence and implicate Hillary, she will likely escape culpability.

Evidence of her role has slowly emerged from declassified records. It was July 26, 2016, when Clinton personally approved the plot to vilify Trump with the bogus collusion claims, according to CIA documents.  The genesis of the smear came from Hillary herself as a strategy to distract from her own email scandal.

Two days later, President Obama was alerted but appears to have done nothing except keep the matter concealed. Intelligence officials then sent an investigative referral on Clinton to then-FBI Director James Comey and his deputy, Peter Strzok. Predictably, it was buried.

Make no mistake –it was Clinton who invented the elaborate collusion hoax, financed it, and directed the process by which it was circulated to the media and the FBI.  Her false claims were then disseminated by a cadre of cronies and dirty-tricksters working secretly in the shadows.

Neither the White House nor Hillary herself responded to requests for comment in the wake of the Special Counsel’s revelations. This even as Democrats want Clinton investigated:

[N]early three out of four Americans want to see Hillary Clinton investigated for her connection to the efforts to frame Trump for ties to Russia. That number includes 66 percent of Democrats.

It’s hilarious to me that Clinton is making noise about a comeback in 2024 for a third run at the White House. But I’m not stupid … the Democrats put an empty, self-promotional, racist grand-stander with zero brains in the White House in 2020, so I wouldn’t put it past them to do the same with Felonius Milhous Pantsuit (as Kurt Schlichter calls her).

I admit that once Trump was out of office, I expected that the Durham investigation would die a quiet death, simply fading from view without notice. The fact that he’s been chipping away all this time is encouraging and I hope—I hope!—that he can prove that the only collusion going on was between Hillary, Obama, Biden and the rest of the Democrat cabal, including the MSM.

Our republic is counting on it.

Wednesday and the national emergency we’re living through isn’t the Chinese Lung Pox and its variants, but the kangaroo court taking place in our nation’s Capitol as Granny Pelosi and Adam Schiff-for-Brains pull off the next step in their Marxist insurrection while accusing the right of the worst crisis since the Civil War.

The first day was full of grown men crying or, as Ace over at Ace of Spades put it, “Testicrying.” Seriously, it was like a group therapy session.

Here’s Rep. Adam Kinzinger, who the ringleaders of this joke of an inquiry think lends credibility to the commission because he has an “R” next to his name. As we all know, these days the only letter that means anything is the letter “D” and, if you are smart, you stay away from it.

He totally loses any credibility with his final sentences that get cut off right at the end. He says,

“And for all the overheated rhetoric surrounding this committee, our mission is very simple. It’s to find the truth and it’s to insure accountability. Like most Americans, I’m frustrated that six months after a deadly insurrection breached the United S —”

Both here and in his statement accepting the position on the committee, he labels the breach of the capitol a “deadly insurrection.” He’s already arrived at the conclusion that it was an insurrection. He can’t possibly be in a position to objectively weigh the evidence and reach his own conclusion. Hopefully this guy is ousted from his seat in 2022.

Declaring the committee a “partisan commission” or a “kangaroo court” isn’t overheated rhetoric, by the way. He just proved that by labeling it an insurrection, meaning that the commission is looking for evidence to support it’s pre-conceived conclusion. It’s going to be a nationally-televised propaganda campaign that leans on heavy emotions to win in the court of public opinion. The junior commies running the country know that we’re an emotionally fragile people who need safe spaces and think words are literally violence and do emotional harm. That’s what resonates with the Lefty electorate.

This commission is a joke. It was an unarmed mob, there are hints it was planned not by Donald Trump but by the FBI or another alphabet agency, there is video of uninformed officers inviting the “mob” in, officers standing by while the “mob” wanders through the Capitol like lost tourists, and only one person was killed during the breach and it was an unarmed female Trump supporter who was shot to death by a still-unnamed Capitol Hill police officer.

Whatever else it was, it was not an insurrection.

Normal Americans should brace themselves for the gross mischaracterizations that are coming as the Leninites reinforce the perception that we are all white supremacists and terrorists who want to overthrow the government. That will become a pretext for taking further steps toward removing us from the public square.
