The Broadside | Nancy Pelosi Tells Republicans What She Really Thinks of Them

I’m continually amazed by how openly hostile Democrats are toward anyone outside their party. And how diametrically opposed our worldviews are.

AUSTIN, Texas – Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., suggested that “30%” of Republican voters will never vote for Democrats because of their racism, sexism and homophobia. 

Speaking at the 2024 Texas Tribune Festival on Saturday, Pelosi was pressed by podcast host Kara Swisher on why the presidential race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Trump is so close.

“There are people who will never be, shall we say, inclined to support Democrats because of – they just have a different orientation toward women, people of color, LGBTQ, you know, they just are not ever going to be there,” Pelosi said. “So, say that’s about like 30% or something like that… of the Republicans. 

This is just sloppy thinking, typical of the progressive movement. “[T]hey just have a different orientation …” Ackshully, Nance, it’s YOU who have a “different orientation” toward those tribes you’ve created. Don’t forget that you and your party started this by pushing abortion, gay marriage and minority supremacy. Before you, our culture was quite stable.

Then, she just throws out a completely made-up “30% or something like that” of all Republicans. I know that both sides speak in generalities, but if you’re going to accuse your opponents of having a “different orientation”—a progressive term if there ever was one—then be factual.

“But here’s where I think we have to be as respectful and understanding as possible,” she continued. “There are people who are concerned. They have fear of globalization. They saw the factory down the road move overseas. They’re fearful of innovation. Their father is a truck driver, and now they’re gonna have auto-“

“Autonomous truck,” Swisher interjected.

“Yeah,” Pelosi replied. “And so the innovation, globalization, and they include immigration… So, understandably, these people have a concern about the future for themselves, but also for their children.”

Isn’t that generous and sensitive of Nancy, handling those with a “different orientation” with kid gloves? “Respectful and understanding as possible” … *spit* … as she led two sham impeachments and tore up Trump’s State of the Union behind his back on national TV.

She says we have “a fear of globalization” as though that’s silly, but then says, we “saw the factory down the road move overseas.” Well, yes. The factory down the road put everyone in that factory out of work so that the owners could reduce costs. Such contempt for flyover country.

And we’re “fearful of innovation.” No, we’re not. We’re fearful of government mandating such debacles as EVs which are unsustainable and a total scam. We’re not stupid—the energy to charge those vehicles has to come from coal or, better yet, nuclear energy. But the progressives are in thrall to Mother Earth, not everyday Americans.

It’s a way for ultra-rich liberals like Pelosi to get even richer, like she does trading on insider information from her position in the government. Don’t lecture me about how the rich “do not really want to pay taxes or have any regulation of clean air, clean water, any of that.”

Considering you and your liberal pals create the taxes and regulations from your perch above us all, I think we should be concerned.

She’s right that we have a “different orientation.” But it’s clear that she thinks we’re wrong in our view and she and her progressive Marxist troops are right in theirs.

And we do the same.

Christmas is not a holiday for those of us who worship Jesus Christ. I hope you and yours enjoyed the annual remembrance of the birth of our Savior and were able to give and receive gifts in honor of the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ.

I toyed with taking this week off from writing, but decided only to take Christmas off, so that’s why there was no post yesterday. The sludge that is our politics continues to pollute our culture unabated and there isn’t a worse example of the grifting, power-hungry, reckless, pandering, arrogant and self-important political class than Nancy Pelosi.

Nancy Pelosi ended her final speech as Speaker of the House by wishing everyone a happy ‘Schwanzaa.’

“Whatever it is you celebrate.”

What a perfect encapsulation of our nation’s identity, spoken by the woman who has sat at the head of a legislature that has done more to erase it than almost any other group other than the Marxists themselves.

I have great contempt for this shameful woman and her politics. She’s an irresponsible, unethical drunk who has abused her power over the years as the United States has fallen into an abyss of self-loathing and violence while she abused her office.

She has not responsibly used the political power she was given by God, “for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God” (Romans 13:1). 

Stuck in that monstrosity of a spending bill was a little item that only a few noticed:

Sec. 636 (a) of the bill states: “The Federal building located at 90 7th Street in San Francisco, California, shall be known and designated as the ‘Speaker Nancy Pelosi Federal Building.’

This 82-year-old woman who has greatly contributed to the carnage in our country will live in infamy through a building named after her in San Francisco that has turned into a third-world hell hole under her watch.

What graft. What a self-aggrandizing stroke of her ego.

She will be known as one of the worst politicians in our history.

What tragedy.

Last week Nancy Pelosi announced that she will not seek re-election to leadership among the Democrat caucus. She’s led the Dems since 2003 and was the first female Speaker in U.S. history. She held the gavel from 2007-2011 and then again from 2019 until now.

“And with great confidence in our caucus, I will not seek reelection to Democratic leadership in the next Congress,” she said. “For me, the hour has come for a new generation to lead the Democratic caucus that I so deeply respect, and I’m grateful that so many are ready and willing to shoulder this awesome responsibility.”

While she’s achieved some historic accomplishments, I say “good riddance.” The defining moment of her “leadership” for me came during Trump’s 2020 State of the Union speech, when she methodically ripped up her copy of his speech while still on the podium after Trump had concluded his speech.

In that moment she disgraced her position of power and allowed whatever personal animus she had toward Trump to express itself publicly. Instead of the decorum the office deserved, she used the occasion to deliver a moment of ugly disrespect to both Trump and the millions of Americans who supported him.

It was childish, boorish and beneath the dignity of her office. It was also par for the course. She led two highly politicized efforts to oust him via impeachment, both of which failed. Her intent to smear him was evident when she said, “He just got impeached. He’ll be impeached for ever. No matter what the Senate does. He’s impeached for ever because he violated our constitution.”

Whatever personal vendetta she had, she had no right to use the political power she was entrusted with to persecute Trump.

Lots of people praise Pelosi for her tenure as speaker. I don’t. She was and is a disgraceful partisan hack who did more damage to the American political institution than any speaker before her.

She deserved to be gone long before now.

Good riddance.

Happy Thursday and welcome to the blog. Thanks for joining me this morning.

One of the claims I’ve made for years is that the Democrats are liars. In fact, I wrote about that less than a week ago, here. “But Dave,” you might say, “isn’t that a little strident? All politicians lie. Surely the Democrats don’t lie all the time.”

Allow me a little humble brag, as I call your attention to a commentary from Philip Carl Salzman, Emeritus Professor of Anthropology at McGill University, Senior Fellow at the Frontier Centre for Public Policy, Fellow at the Middle East Forum, and president of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East. In “When Was the Last Time That the Democrats Told the Truth About Anything?” he writes,

Lies, damn lies, and Democrat Party claims.

As a sometime registered Democrat, I was astonished to discover, once I retired a few years ago and started to pay attention to national politics, that just about every Democrat Party assertion fell in the range of deception through dishonesty to outright falsity. You know them all.

We call this “getting red-pilled.” It’s when the blinders suddenly fall off and you see the Democrats and their insanity for what it is.

Donald Trump is a Russian asset elected through Russian meddling. The Trump-Russian collusion hoax was the main talking point of Democrats for years. The “evidence” was a phony document paid for by the Clinton election campaign. The Democrat FBI misled the FISA Court into granting permission to spy on Trump affiliates. Top Democrat leaders, such as the shifty Adam Schiff, claimed repeatedly that they had conclusive evidence of collusion but never produced it. Even the Department of Justice’s Special Counsel and his large team could not, after two years of investigation, find any evidence in support of the collusion hoax.

As the Black Lives Matter riots destroyed American cities across the land, with Democrat voters assaulting police, massively looting, intentionally burning vehicles and buildings, and occasionally killing anyone who resisted, the Democrat media declared that the protests were “mostly peaceful,” even as buildings burned in the background. Democrats declared their fealty to Black Lives Matter, worked to release rioters who had been arrested, and donated $80 million to the self-declared Marxist Black Lives Matter organization. Democrat business executives and university officials declared their organizations’ support of Black Lives Matter, making public declarations and flying BLM flags.

Democrats endorsed the Black Lives Matter slander that the police everywhere were racist and that they murdered blacks freely and in great numbers, libels that were endorsed by Democrat politicians across the land. Many national and state Democrats advocated that every jurisdiction “Defund/Disband the Police,” and many jurisdictions did that, for example, New York, which cut its police budget by a billion dollars.

Salzman then goes on to describe the mountains of evidence that flatly refute the claim that police everywhere are racist or that they murder blacks in disproportionate numbers.

Continuing to list the lies, Salzman writes,

Which Democrat lie is more monstrous is difficult to decide, but the Democrat New York Times “1619 Project,” an extensive, multi-article campaign, is among the worst. The thesis is that America was founded to protect and advance slavery, that its founding documents, including the Constitution, were designed with this purpose, that the country has never been about anything but slavery, and consequently that the country was and is rotten from its foundation up. There are many specific theses, such as that American wealth was built on nothing but slave labor.

He goes on to mention the suppression of Hunter Biden’s laptop; the false claim that the COVID vaccines would keep you from getting or giving COVID; that the new voting laws in Georgia were “voter suppression” and “Jim Crow on steroids” (Georgia is seeing record numbers turning out in early voting right now: “It was already clear after Georgia’s primary election set new turnout records this spring, but it bears repeating once again: Democrats don’t tell the truth about voting rights“); that America is “systemically racist” and why that’s untrue; that both blacks and whites use marijuana equally; “the science-denying claim that men can become women and women can become men, and that men can become pregnant, and that mutilating children is ‘health care,'” and that “the border is secure.”

Allow me to add a few more:

  • Biden falsely claimed he did nothing to slow or stop oil production in the United States
  • San Fran Nan Pelosi rejected polls that “clearly show the economy and inflation as the top issues for voters in the midterm elections” and says the top issue for voters is abortion”
  • Anthony Fauci claims “he had nothing to do with the damaging policy” of shutting down schools during COVID, when his own statements clearly show he did
  • Brandon accidentally let slip that re-joining the Paris Accords and eliminating all fossil fuels to fight so-called climate change “isn’t going to matter” because global emissions are outpacing whatever reduction we could muster.

Democrats live in the world as they wish it was, not as it is. That’s why they deliberately lie about everything.

And, no, that’s not strident—that’s the truth.

Daily Broadside | Roe v. Wade to be Overturned According to Leaked Draft Opinion

Tuesday and yesterday, for the first time in the modern history of the Supreme Court, a draft opinion was leaked to the press.

The Supreme Court has voted to strike down the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito circulated inside the court and obtained by POLITICO.

The draft opinion is a full-throated, unflinching repudiation of the 1973 decision which guaranteed federal constitutional protections of abortion rights and a subsequent 1992 decision – Planned Parenthood v. Casey – that largely maintained the right. “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Alito writes.

This is fantastic news to those of us who believe abortion is an evil that must be purged from our nation. Abortion has been a deeply divisive issue from the start and has only grown more grotesque and extreme over the last 50-years, culminating in a flurry of state laws granting the right to have an abortion up to the moment of birth.

“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” he writes in the document, labeled as the “Opinion of the Court.” “It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”

Of course, the usual suspects were primed to denounce the news.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer torched Supreme Court justices on Monday night after Politico published what appears to be a leaked draft of a ruling overturning the right to an abortion.

“If the report is accurate, the Supreme Court is poised to inflict the greatest restriction of rights in the past fifty years – not just on women but on all Americans,” the top two Congressional Democrats said in a joint statement. “The Republican-appointed Justices’ reported votes to overturn Roe v. Wade would go down as an abomination, one of the worst and most damaging decisions in modern history.”

If you ever wanted evidence that Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are two of the worst politicians to be inflicted on the American people in the last 50 years, there you have it. To call the roll-back of abortion “an abomination” and “one of the worst and most damaging decisions” is completely the opposite of what it is. It also shows you how completely immoral our leaders have become.

I would not be surprised to know that Pelosi and Schumer were both notified that the leak was coming. The leak is very damaging to this ruling in particular and to the court in general. The leak is obviously intended to produce pressure on the justices to vote to keep Roe v. Wade in place. Gin up the anger and hostility to eleven across the country.

Further, who leaked the draft opinion? That person should be identified and punished. How can the Justices of the Supreme Court trust each other?

Josh Blackman, a professor at the South Texas College of Law, swiftly called on the chief justice to launch an investigation into the leak.

“Roberts has an absolute obligation to conduct a thorough and transparent investigation. And at the end of that investigation, Roberts must publicly identify the persons who are responsible for this leak–that includes Justices and clerks. Heads must roll,” Blackman wrote in a blog post on Monday night.

Most agree that the draft opinion is written in the style of Samuel Alito and that he would be writing for the majority.

Ruling on Dobbs vs. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, Alito wrote, “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled. The Constitution makes no reference to abortion, and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision, including the one on which the defenders of Roe and Casey now chiefly rely—the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. That provision has been held to guarantee some rights that are not mentioned in the Constitution, but any such right must be ‘deeply rooted in this Nation’s history and tradition’ and ‘implicit in the concept of ordered liberty.’”

“The right to abortion does not fall within this category,” Alito continued. “Until the latter part of the 20th century, such a right was entirely unknown in American law. Indeed, when the Fourteenth Amendment was adopted, three-quarters of the States made abortion a crime at all stages of pregnancy.”

“It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives,” the justice insisted. He quoted Justice Antonin Scalia: “The permissibility of abortion, and the limitations, upon it, are to be resolved like most important questions in our democracy: by citizens trying to persuade one another and then voting.”

“We end this opinion where we began,” Alito concluded. “Abortion presents a profound moral question. The Constitution does not prohibit the citizens of each State from regulating or prohibiting abortion. Roe and Casey arrogated that authority. We now overrule those decisions and return that authority to the people and their elected representatives. The judgment in the Fifth Circuit is reversed, and the case is remanded for further proceedings consistent with this opinion. It is so ordered.” [Emphasis added]

I’m praying that it’s an authentic draft and that the egregious leak does nothing to sway the majority opinion.

It’s Friday and as we head into the weekend, some good news for those of us who can’t wait for Joe Brandon to be kicked to the curb in 2024.

As Stephen Green reported in this article at PJ Media,

Gallup recently updated its long-term party affiliation poll, which asks American voters one or two simple questions:

– In politics, as of today, do you consider yourself a Republican, a Democrat or an independent?
– (If they ID as independents) As of today, do you lean more to the Democratic Party or the Republican Party?

Currently, 31% say they’re Republicans, up slightly from the usual mid-20s to 30%. 41% told Gallup that they’re independent voters, in line with the average swing. Only 27% self-ID as Democrats, which is down from the more typical 29-32%.

But it’s the second question that should have Washington Democrats changing their shorts.

Indies, asked whether they lean towards the Democrats or the GOP, broke for the GOP 47% to 41%.

Half of all independent voters leaned Democrat as Resident Biden was [criminally] inaugurated on January 20. Since then, the Democrats have lost 9% of Indies. Conversely, Republicans started with 41% of independents in January and have picked up 6% since.

This is, of course, due to the flagrant incompetence and moral corruption of the current administration, which has left normal Americans bearing the financial cost of raging inflation.

In another poll conducted by Morning Consult/Politico, they found that more independent voters support Trump running for president in 2024 (31%) than they do Brandon (23%). Of course, the flip side is that 67% of independent voters say Biden should not run for a second term while 59% don’t believe Trump should seek reelection.

With independent voters abandoning Democrats, Republicans should feel the wind in their sails. As Green says,

At this time in Barack Obama’s first term, the breakdown was a much more Dem-friendly 25R/41I/32D. And the Indy swing was exactly reversed, 41R/47D.

Yet the Democrats still lost a whopping 63 seats in the House and seven more in the Senate in the following midterm election.

In yet another sign of how Democrats have lost their grip on the electorate, Biden’s support among Hispanics has also cratered. In their article, “Biden Has Lost Support Across All Groups Of Americans — But Especially Independents And Hispanics,” FiveThirtyEight found that,

Recent polling suggests that Hispanic approval of Biden’s handling of the pandemic and the economy has fallen sharply. The latest poll from The Economist/YouGov found just 45 percent of Hispanics approved of Biden’s handling of the pandemic, compared with 65 percent in early June. And Politico/Morning Consult’s new survey found Hispanic approval of Biden’s handling of the economy has dropped to 42 percent, compared with 60 percent back in June. Hispanics are also frustrated with how Biden has dealt with immigration — long one of Biden’s weakest issues in the public’s eyes — and although it isn’t the most important issue for Hispanic voters, it is often a highly salient one. Earlier this month, Quinnipiac University found that only 23 percent of Hispanic Americans approved of Biden’s work on immigration, down from 49 percent in late May. Even if that might be on the low end for Biden, the new Politico/Morning Consult survey also found him performing more poorly on the issue among Hispanic voters, as just 40 percent approved, compared with 51 percent in June.

I … am … laughing!

The Democrats and cultural Marxists (but I repeat myself) are flooding the country with Hispanics, believing that they will vote Democrat and keep the progressive commies in power. But it’s looking like it might be backfiring spectacularly. Wouldn’t that be poetic justice if in abolishing We the People and replacing them with another, the Dems still lost power?

In another article about the same poll, MSNBC writes,

But it’s possible that no political development worries blue America’s operatives more than Hispanic voters’ rightward drift.

Biden’s approval rating has declined with just about every demographic. But no racial or ethnic group has soured on the president more than Hispanics, according to FiveThirtyEight’s aggregation of all available polls.

In one recent survey from The Wall Street Journal, Hispanic voters were about evenly split between Republicans and Democrats on the question of which party they intended to support in next year’s midterms. And in a hypothetical Biden versus Trump rematch, the two candidates were statistically tied among Hispanics. The poll is an outlier, and its sample of Hispanic voters is small. But such a result would scarcely be possible in a world where Hispanic support for the Democratic Party was at remotely normal levels.

Of course, all this comes in the wake of an election that saw the GOP gain eight points among Hispanic voters, according to the Democratic data firm Catalist.

Finally, the most recent Rasmussen Reports “finds that, if the elections for Congress were held today, 48% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote for the Republican candidate, while 39% would vote for the Democrat.”

The nine-point edge for Republicans in the latest poll is still larger than Democrats enjoyed at any time during the 2018 midterm campaign, due both to greater GOP partisan intensity and a 17-point advantage among independents. While 87% of Republican voters say they would vote for their own party’s candidate, only 80% of Democrats would vote for the Democratic candidate. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, 44% would vote Republican and 27% would vote Democrats, while nine percent (9%) would vote for some other candidate and 20% are undecided.

On top of all this, 20 House Democrats are not seeking re-election in 2022, which means that keeping their majority just got that much harder.

Yeah, everything right now is looking like a political tsunami is building that will completely wipe out the Democrats in 2022. Yet Nancy Pelosi can gush at a Democratic National Committee holiday celebration,

And Mr. President, it is an honor and, of course, a pleasure to be here at this time of challenge — and with the coronavirus, the national insecurity for families, natural disasters.

Our country could not be more — it could not be better served, than with this most experienced, capable hands than yours, President Biden. He’s just perfect! The timing couldn’t be better.

Thursday and the nonsense emanating from Washington just keeps surpassing my capacity to be surprised. This week Nancy Pelosi expressed shock — shock, I tell you! — about the wave of crime in her home district of San Francisco, including organized retail theft.

“It’s absolutely outrageous. Obviously it cannot continue,” Pelosi said. “But the fact is that there is an attitude of lawlessness in our country that springs from I don’t know where… and we cannot have that lawlessness become the norm.”

An “attitude of lawlessness,” you say?

No idea where it comes from, you say?

She knows where it comes from. We all do. It comes from her progressive minions who have led the nationwide agitation to defund the police. It comes from progressive policies that refuse to prosecute theft valued under $950 and activist DAs who reduce bail for criminals. This go-soft on crime not only undermines law and order, but signals criminals that they can get away with crime that used to be punished.

Even the mayor of San Francisco has had enough.

Mayor London Breed launched an emergency police intervention in San Francisco’s crime-ridden Tenderloin neighborhood Tuesday, targeting a pipeline of illegal drugs that has been fueling a surge in gun violence and deadly fentanyl overdoses.

Breed’s anger and frustration over the crime surge in the city were on full display at her noon news conference.

“It’s time the reign of criminals who are destroying our city, it is time for it to come to an end,” she said. “And it comes to an end when we take the steps to more aggressive with law enforcement. More aggressive with the changes in our policies and less tolerate of all the bull**** that has destroyed our city.”

How stunning! And brave! She even threw in a swear to prove How Serious I Am!

Funny, I’m old enough to remember when she supported the movement to defund the police, and when she actually proposed defunding the police.

The Mayor’s proposed budget acknowledges the structural inequities impacting the city’s African American community, resulting from generations of disinvestment. The proposed budget reinvests $120 million in funds over two years, predominately from the City’s law enforcement departments, towards efforts to repair the legacy of racially disparate policies on health, housing, and economic outcomes for African Americans. …

Mayor Breed’s budget is informed by that process and recognizes that the African American community must continue to be involved in determining the specific allocations of the funding. Therefore, the Human Rights Commission will continue leading a community process to determine how the $120 million will be allocated.

That was then, this is now. The next mayoral election is in 2023, meaning that she will have to ramp up her reelection efforts in … [checks calendar] … 2022!

How conveeeeenient!

Hey, I’m all for cracking down on criminals, no matter the motivation. But both the mayor and Nancy Pelosi are cynical politicians who change positions to preserve their power.

Pleading ignorance insults our intelligence and tells us all we need to know about Pelosi’s own attitude of lawlessness.

It’s Wednesday and we’ve crested the bell curve for the week. True story: I’ve landed in an airplane one time less than I’ve taken off in one.

The more I read about the train wreck of a dumpster fire in Afghanistan the more livid I become. I’m sad, yes, over the tragedy and what it means for the men, women and children who are not the Taliban, but I’m more angry than sad about it by a factor of, oh, 100. And the group I’m angry with are the insipid clowns who have caused the disgraceful debacle in Afghanistan.

They’re like small children playing with dollhouses and toy cars, zooming along in their imaginations but totally clueless about how life works in reality. These people are buffoons and idiots who lie for a living because reality doesn’t — and can’t — match their utopian fantasies.

But Dementia Joe had a plan, a perfectly “careful and thought-out plan,” according to Chuck Schumer, the useless anti-American majority leader in the Senate, talking to CNN’s John Berman on April 14:

I think President Biden has come up with a careful and thought-out plan. Look, John, the president doesn’t want endless wars. I don’t want endless wars. And neither do the American people. And it’s refreshing to have a thought-out plan with a set timetable instead of the president waking up one morning, getting out of bed and saying what just pops into his head and then the generals having walked it back. So I think this is a careful, thought-out plan.

Maybe Chuck sincerely thought it was a careful and thought-out plan. But if he did, he was spectacularly wrong. If he didn’t, he’s a liar. Either way, Chuck Schumer’s a joker.

How about Secretary of State Antony Blinken just four days ago?

“Remember, this is not Saigon,” Blinken told CNN, referring to the fall of Saigon in 1975 at the end of the Vietnam War. “We went to Afghanistan 20 years ago with one mission, and that mission was to deal with the folks who attacked us on 9/11 – and we have succeeded in that mission.”

Sure, we didn’t “win” in Vietnam, but can you call it a “win” in Afghanistan? And why was there an urgent need to destroy documents and the scramble to evacuate our diplomats? Prevaricator.

Then there’s General Millie Vanillie who is fabulously woke, but who just wrecked all the work we did in Afghanistan:

The same month – since when the Taleban’s lightning offensive has surprised many US military officials – the chairman of the US joint chiefs of staff, General Mark Milley, also rejected comparisons to the desperate exit from Saigon.

“I do not see that unfolding,” Gen Milley said. “I may be wrong, who knows, you can’t predict the future, but I don’t see Saigon 1975 in Afghanistan. The Taleban (forces) just aren’t the North Vietnamese Army. It’s not that kind of situation.”

Got that? He did not “see that unfolding.” Oh, really? What did he see then, Afghans holding hands and singing us out of the country? How the hell does that man still have a job? Maybe instead of pushing CRT and chasing phantom terrorists among Normal Americans, he should have been studying the situation on the ground in Afghanistan.

Finally, there’s the wicked witch of the West, San Fran Nan:

In her full statement, she again emphasized Joey Fudge Chunk’s sensational planning: “Once again, I want to acknowledge the clarity of purpose of [alleged] President Biden’s statement and the wisdom of his actions.”

Yeah, Nancy? Tell that to Barack Hussein Obama, who told us not to “underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up.” I’m no fan of Obama, but at least he had Biden dead to rights on that count.

And don’t forget Circle Back Psaki believing that the plan is so wonderful they can’t guarantee that the 11,000 American citizens and 30,000 Afghan nationals who aided the U.S. efforts will get out safely.

Not to mention the “fair amount” of weapons the US left in Afghanistan are in the possession of the Taliban and won’t be returned to us.

Oh, and the terrorists coming across our southern border.

Oh also, the dolt Senator John Cornyn who tweeted “the number of US troops stationed in South Korea, Germany, Japan, China’s Taiwan and on the African continent to show how the number of US soldiers has dwindled in Afghanistan. But in the process, Cornyn revealed the shocking news that there are 30,000 US troops on China’s Taiwan island.” Now China has cause to go to war on Taiwan.

And China is wasting no time in threatening Taiwan.

Oh, and almost forgot, “Iran has accelerated its enrichment of uranium to near weapons-grade” because, Biden!

At least the tweets are nice now. Joey Vanilla Bean is restoring our norms, everybody!

Taxpayers should be furious not just about the profligate waste and extravagance of such an establishment, but at the bottomless idiocy of a class of credentialled people who think that the answer to every foreign problem is to spend absurd amounts of money, hire endless case officers and private contractors/consultants, outreach coordinators to tweet out rainbow flag celebrations, issue endless white papers analyzing the situation that bear little or no relation to reality, and an apparatus that has proven unable to process visas for the Afghans who worked for us, let alone have a plan for evacuating Americans. Despite Biden’s pathetic defense of the outcome, he ought to be furious with the whole upper echelon of our military-diplomatic complex. There ought to be mass firings. Of course, we all know that no one will be fired, and no senior person in this apparatus of disaster will have the honor to resign.

Again, these people are fundamentally unserious and they have just made the world a lot less safe; like, significantly unsafe. Not just in the Middle East, but in America. They have no business being on the operational side of the power they wield.

Anyone who voted for Joe Biden in 2020 owns this abject disgrace. They own our decimated economy, our lawless open border, the spiraling inflation, the expensive gasoline, the terrorist threats that now exist — they own it all. Trump had made us strong again, but they gave half of America the finger based on lies from the Deep State amplified by the Democrat-Media Complex, and now we all live with the consequences of their sanctimonious high-school hissy fit.

If there’s even a sliver of a silver lining in all of this — and that’s a very big “if” — it’s that everybody, including the cultural Marxists, just got hit upside the head with the real-world consequences of having Joseph Robinette Biden and his mob of junior commies in charge.

You can’t deny that he and his crew have screwed up royally. Everybody and their mother is pointing it out.

But it won’t change anything, guaranteed.

If it were up to me, I’d throw every last one of the Democrats — and a fair number of Republicans — out of their cushy office chairs paid for with my taxes. Washington needs to be torn down, salted over and rebuilt the way our Founders first did it — with truly wise men.

Wednesday and the national emergency we’re living through isn’t the Chinese Lung Pox and its variants, but the kangaroo court taking place in our nation’s Capitol as Granny Pelosi and Adam Schiff-for-Brains pull off the next step in their Marxist insurrection while accusing the right of the worst crisis since the Civil War.

The first day was full of grown men crying or, as Ace over at Ace of Spades put it, “Testicrying.” Seriously, it was like a group therapy session.

Here’s Rep. Adam Kinzinger, who the ringleaders of this joke of an inquiry think lends credibility to the commission because he has an “R” next to his name. As we all know, these days the only letter that means anything is the letter “D” and, if you are smart, you stay away from it.

He totally loses any credibility with his final sentences that get cut off right at the end. He says,

“And for all the overheated rhetoric surrounding this committee, our mission is very simple. It’s to find the truth and it’s to insure accountability. Like most Americans, I’m frustrated that six months after a deadly insurrection breached the United S —”

Both here and in his statement accepting the position on the committee, he labels the breach of the capitol a “deadly insurrection.” He’s already arrived at the conclusion that it was an insurrection. He can’t possibly be in a position to objectively weigh the evidence and reach his own conclusion. Hopefully this guy is ousted from his seat in 2022.

Declaring the committee a “partisan commission” or a “kangaroo court” isn’t overheated rhetoric, by the way. He just proved that by labeling it an insurrection, meaning that the commission is looking for evidence to support it’s pre-conceived conclusion. It’s going to be a nationally-televised propaganda campaign that leans on heavy emotions to win in the court of public opinion. The junior commies running the country know that we’re an emotionally fragile people who need safe spaces and think words are literally violence and do emotional harm. That’s what resonates with the Lefty electorate.

This commission is a joke. It was an unarmed mob, there are hints it was planned not by Donald Trump but by the FBI or another alphabet agency, there is video of uninformed officers inviting the “mob” in, officers standing by while the “mob” wanders through the Capitol like lost tourists, and only one person was killed during the breach and it was an unarmed female Trump supporter who was shot to death by a still-unnamed Capitol Hill police officer.

Whatever else it was, it was not an insurrection.

Normal Americans should brace themselves for the gross mischaracterizations that are coming as the Leninites reinforce the perception that we are all white supremacists and terrorists who want to overthrow the government. That will become a pretext for taking further steps toward removing us from the public square.
