Daily Broadside | If You Believe the 2020 Election Was Righteous, You Won’t Believe It Now

Daily Verse | Proverbs 31:30
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

Tuesday’s Reading: Ecclesiastes 1-6

Happy Tuesday, my friends.

The wheels of justice turn slowly here in the U.S., but turn they do, especially when there aren’t Democrats or progressive Marxist activists involved. After 20 months of calling any dispute over the 2020 presidential election “the Big Lie,” evidence that the Democrats and Joe Biden acolytes are “the Big Liars” is being documented amid revelations from courts and investigative bodies including, believe it or not, the FBI and Homeland Security Department.

John Solomon at Just the News (via American Greatness):

But with each passing day, new irregularities, security vulnerabilities and illegalities are being unmasked by bombshell revelations from courts, legislators and other investigative bodies like the FBI and Homeland Security Department.

The latest came last week when the Wisconsin Supreme Court declared that state election regulators had no legal authority to allow voters to cast ballots in mobile drop boxes, a jaw-dropping decision that invalidated the way tens of thousands of voters — many of them Democrats — cast their ballots,

From Phoenix to Detroit, and Madison to Austin, there are now nearly two dozen credible confirmations of problems that undercut the claims of bureaucrats, journalists and Democrats that the November 2020 general election was perfect. In fact, it was quite imperfect.

You don’t say.

You Don’t Say.

YOU. DON’T. SAY.

See, when I questioned the outcome of the election, I was told, rather forcefully, that people were so sick of Trump that a record 81 MILLION OF THEM voted for Biden, the mendacious, racist political mediocrity who was on the wrong side of every issue during his career in the Senate, whose former boss told us not to underestimate his ability “to f*** things up,” and who couldn’t draw a crowd of more than a dozen at any “rally” he held during the campaign, who slurred his speech, was gaffe-prone, and hid after calling “a lid” at 1:00 p.m. every day.

No way.

When people don’t have a candidate they’re enthused about, they don’t vote. They aren’t motivated by the other team’s candidate to vote for their own. That’s why I don’t believe Biden got 81 million votes.

And now we’re beginning to find out where those “81 million” votes came from.

As American Greatness writes, “Just The News has compiled a comprehensive list of 21 confirmed instances of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election, with many of them coming from the handful of key swing states that ultimately determined the outcome of the race.”

Here are my top five of the 21:

ONE: The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled July 8 that “ballot drop boxes used in the 2020 election were illegal and harmed Wisconsin voters.” That means that the 570 drop boxes that received hundreds of thousands of votes were “were unlawfully approved by the Wisconsin Election Commission,” and every single vote that passed through those drop boxes are invalid (both Democrat (and Republican — ha!)). Trump lost Wisconsin by less than 21,000 votes.

TWO: Hunter Biden’s laptop was a case of election interference. Solomon writes that more than “50 national security experts, countless news organizations and large social media firms falsely told American voters in fall 2020 that the Hunter Biden laptop with damning revelations about Biden family corruption was Russian disinformation. In fact, it was a legitimate laptop already in the FBI’s possession, and Hunter Biden was already under criminal investigation before voters cast their 2020 ballots. The false narrative had significant impact: polling shows a majority of American voters believe the pre-election censorship of the story amounted to election interference,

THREE: 50,000 ballots in Arizona have been called into question after an extensive audit by Arizona’s Senate, “including voters who cast ballots from residences they had left. The tally in question is nearly five times the margin of Joe Biden’s victory in the state.”

FOUR: Given the narrow margins of victory and defeat, a not insignificant number of foreigners and other non-citizens were found on the ballot rolls in Texas (12,000), Georgia, and Wisconsin after audits.

FIVE: Ballot harvesting (a vote collection operation) in nursing homes in Wisconsin, along with a massive operation in Georgia, where an unidentified whistleblower said harvesters were paid $10 per ballot. Clearly illegal activity.

The first to present his case seems right, till another comes forward and questions him. (Proverbs 18:17)

I don’t know where any of this goes but, at the very least, no one can say with a straight face that the 2020 election was free from fraud.

Daily Broadside | Some Republicans Help the Democrats Be Awful People

Daily Verse | 1 Kings 12:20
Only the tribe of Judah remained loyal to the house of David.

Friday’s Reading: 1 Kings 15-16
Saturday’s Reading: 1 Kings 17-19

Friday and the end of another week. Beware that next Friday is April 15, when you have to hand over everything you haven’t yet to the feds and your state gubmints. “Of, by and for the people,” my eye. No rant from me, but we’ve gotten so used to being fleeced by the people we elect that we don’t even notice it anymore.

The other thing that’s happening on the 15th is Good Friday. Don’t forget to set aside some time to reflect on the sacrifice of God’s Son for the sins of the world, including you and me. It makes seeing the rampant sin among us more bearable, knowing that it will all face a reckoning someday—soon, I hope.

Yesterday was another sorry day in our history as Judge “I’m-not-a-biologist” Ketanji Brown Jackson was confirmed by the Senate with the three votes of not-at-all-conservative Republican Senators Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and “severely conservative” (lol) Mitt Romney voting for Jackson.

The vote was 53-47. Brown Jackson would’ve been confirmed if the vote had been tied, with VP (Virtue Pick) Kamala Harris casting the tie-breaking vote. But the three liberal Republicans still sided with the enemies of American culture, conscience and freedom, voting to confirm a woman who has a proven pattern of leniency for child sex offenders, supports Critical Race Theory (CRT), and refused to define a “woman.”

Republicans who opposed Jackson did so on several fronts: her dodging of questions on whether she favors court packing; her inability to define a “woman,” insufficient explanation of her judicial philosophy and her “soft on crime” sentencing record, including those of several child pornography offenders.

Democrats celebrated (or should I say, gloated) over the idealogue they forced on the American people.

Joe Brandon:

“Judge Jackson’s confirmation was a historic moment for our nation,” Biden said on Twitter with a picture of him taking a selfie with the newly confirmed Jackson. “We’ve taken another step toward making our highest court reflect the diversity of America. She will be an incredible Justice, and I was honored to share this moment with her.”

Chucky Schemer:

This is an “amazing day not only for Justice Brown Jackson but for the United States of America,” Schumer said. On the long road to equality, Schumer said, “sometimes you take a step back, but today we took a giant step forward.”

Don’t make me hurl.

Democrats are deeply immoral people. They stole the election in 2020, then they stole a SCOTUS seat by forcing Justice Breyer to resign.

“The Left bullied Justice Breyer into retirement and now it will demand a justice who rubber stamps its liberal political agenda,” Judicial Crisis Network president Carrie Severino said in a statement, adding “And that’s what the Democrats will give them, because they’re beholden to the dark money supporters who helped elect them.”

And give it they did, filling the vacancy with a pyrsyn who doesn’t know what the definition of a woman is.

But that’s not the worst of it. The worst of it is that the regressive, cultural Marxists elevated Jackson’s skin color over her judicial record, a record which indicates that she is a radical leftist who can’t be trusted to objectively and fairly interpret our Constitution. They put superficiality over substance.

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said, “Biden’s pick Ketanji Brown Jackson is a radical, activist judge, one who failed to answer simple questions on her record, including leniency for child porn offenders and support of CRT. Jackson has proved to be in lockstep with the far left’s political agenda, even refusing to define what a woman is. The RNC will hold Democrats accountable this November for supporting Biden’s radical pick.”

Yep. We all know how Jackson will vote, just like we all knew how the Wise Latina and Kagan would vote.

Yet all the Democrats talked about today was “equality” and “diversity.” It’s sickening.

Still, there may be some hope in the darkness. None less than The New York Times postulates that there isn’t much Jackson’s appointment can do to stop the more conservative bend of SCOTUS from dominating.

However collegial she may be, whatever her reputation as a “consensus builder” and whether her voting record will be slightly to the right or the left of Justice Breyer’s, the court’s lopsided conservative majority will remain in charge. Judge Jackson will most likely find herself, as Justice Breyer has, in dissent in the court’s major cases on highly charged social questions.

See that? Even the NYT concedes that there’s a “conservative” bias that includes Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Kavanaugh and Justice Amy Comey Barrett (all three of whom, by the way, have made decisions disappointing to “conservatives” since ascending to the top court in the land). So spare me the moaning about the resistance to Jackson’s appointment.

Let’s hope that any damage KBJ has the potential to do is blunted by remaining in the minority on court decisions, a Republican take-over of the House and Senate this fall, plus the presidency in 2024.

Have a good weekend.

Daily Broadside | Get Your Grubby Liberal Fingers Off My Country

Daily Verse | 1 Samuel 15:22b
To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.”

Tuesday’s Reading: 1 Samuel 16-19

Tuesday and it’s hard to know where to start. I’m a once-a-day blogger right now and unless I become enormously popular and independently wealthy, that’s the way it’s going to stay. But there’s a thousand topics out there that could be covered skewered and I can only pick one each time I break out my keyboard.

There’s the war in Ukraine and the increasing calls for the U.S. to escalate our involvement. There’s the absolute insanity of men presenting as women winning in sports and women of the year honors. There’s Hunter Biden’s laptop, which the New York Times has finally decided was legit, so I guess we can all talk about it now. There’s Brandon’s virtue pick for the Supreme Court, Ketanji Brown Jackson, who seems to have had “a pattern of letting child porn offenders off the hook for their appalling crimes.” There’s the specter of renewing the tyrannical Chinese Lung Pox restrictions with the re-emergence of Dr. Faux Chi on the Sunday talk show circuit. There’s inflation and the high cost of gas, even though we could have it easily and cheaply if our government masters allowed it. There’s our southern “border” which is now just a concept, not a reality, in service to the “Great Society” of the 1960s. There’s the grooming of America’s children in public schools. And if those weren’t enough, there’s the Great Issues of Our Day being addressed by our do-nothing-good Congress, namely, hair discrimination and making Daylight Saving Time permanent—because those are the most pressing issues America is concerned about.

What’s a blogger to do?

Well, since the criminal enterprise known as the Democrat party is driving the chaos and irrationality of our current day madness, let’s pause for a moment to check on how they’re faring heading into the mid-term elections.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that, if the elections for Congress were held today, 50% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote for the Republican candidate, while 39% would vote for the Democrat. Just five percent (5%) would vote for some other candidate, but another seven percent (7%) are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

That’s fantastic news, even though the results indicate a two-point gain for Democrats since February.

The 11-point edge for Republicans in the latest poll is larger than Democrats enjoyed at any time during the 2018 midterm campaign, due both to greater GOP partisan intensity and a 19-point advantage among independents. While 94% of Republican voters say they would vote for their own party’s congressional candidate, only 82% of Democrats would vote for the Democratic candidate. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, 46% would vote Republican and 27% would vote Democrat, while 13% would vote for some other candidate and 14% are undecided.

Fifty-four percent (54%) of whites, 28% of black voters and 48% of other minorities would vote Republican if the election were held today. Sixty-two percent (62%) of black voters, 36% of whites and 35% of other minorities would vote Democrat.

The so-called “gender gap” is nearly non-existent in the latest findings, with men (49%) one point less likely than women voters (50%) to prefer Republican congressional candidates.

Add to that the resignation of 31 Democrat House members (a 30-year high) and prospects for the party look bleak. The party in power typically loses seats in the mid-terms, but the economy and the incompetent moron occupying the White House are creating the right conditions for a wave election.

Of course, we’re still eight months out, we’re watching a smoldering fight in Ukraine with the potential to become a wider conflagration, and who knows what sort of evils the Left have in store for the November elections.

More than half of voters believe cheating affected the 2020 election and an overwhelming majority say the issue of election integrity will be important in the midterm elections.

You don’t say.

Well, I won’t be surprised if a toilet in a Blue State somewhere overflows and floods precincts in four or five surrounding states.

As I’ve said before, we have the wind at our backs. Don’t just read about what’s happening; donate money, volunteer time, and help America pry the pasty fingers of the Democrats off the levers of power before they completely destroy us.

Daily Broadside | These Colors Don’t Run (Unless You’re a Democrat)

Daily Verse | 1 Samuel 3:19
The Lord was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of his words fall to the ground.

Friday’s Reading: 1 Samuel 4-8
Saturday’s Reading: 1 Samuel 9-12

Friday and the close of the week. For those of you with Irish blood, I hope your Thursday was happy and green for St. Paddy’s Day.

A few days ago a Quinnipiac University poll reported that if Americans found themselves in the same position as the Ukrainians—under military attack by a foreign adversary—“only 55 percent said that they would stay and fight for this country.”

As the world witnesses what is happening to Ukraine, Americans were asked what they would do if they were in the same position as Ukrainians are now: stay and fight or leave the country? A majority (55 percent) say they would stay and fight, while 38 percent say they would leave the country. Republicans say 68 – 25 percent and independents say 57 – 36 percent they would stay and fight, while Democrats say 52 – 40 percent they would leave the country.

Only 55 percent said they’d stay and fight? Wut?

More than half of Democrats would leave the country, which is surprising; I would have guessed that number to be between 60 – 70 percent. Still, that’s understandable for a group that associates with a criminal political party that hates the United States.

Shockingly, more than half of Democrats (52%) said they would cut and run if the U.S. homeland were invaded. We aren’t talking about women and children, or even some cadre of pacifists and conscientious objectors. This is most Democrats saying they’d rather leave America than defend it. Only a pathetic 40% said they would stick around.

Republicans did better. More than two-thirds (68%) said they would stand their ground. This could be a reflection of the partisan skew in the nation’s distribution of small arms. But 1 in 4 Republicans said they’d flee—not exactly the don’t-tread-on-me spirit I was expecting.

Seriously, where are the patriots?

What in the hell has happened to this country? One can hardly imagine Americans of yesteryear exhibiting such high levels of yellow-bellyism. Where have all the Minutemen gone? The Molly Pitchers? The Audie Murphys? The Todd Beamers?

Here’s the breakdown of the results:

A couple of observations about the demographics. First, 58% of whites with a college degree would not stay and fight. That’s worse than the 52% of Dems who would flee.

Second, two-thirds of those in the 50-64 age group would stay and fight. That’s likely because they still have the stirrings of a patriotism that has been slowly driven out of our children over the last few generations. The 18-34 demographic has the highest number of those who would run. Aligns with the immaturity and outright mental warp of those generations.

Third, it’s a revelation, but perhaps unsurprising, that black Americans have the lowest number of those who would stay and fight (38%) and the highest number of those who would leave the country (59%). Why stay to fight for a country you are told is racist to the core? You might even cheer its destruction.

Even more surprising is that Hispanics are the second-highest group who say they would fight (61%). Would love to know the demographic make-up of the 1,374 U.S. adults polled.

None of this instills confidence in our ability to defend ourselves against a foreign military assault on our homeland.

Jonathan Turley writes in response to the poll:

The poll shows a crisis of faith within the Democratic party, but also our country at large. People have lost faith in our common article of faith in the Constitution. That did not occur over night. There have been unrelenting attacks on our institutions and core values for years that ignore our countervailing successes. We have gone through terrible periods and faced terrible institutions and practices from slavery to segregation. However, we faced them as a people united in a common faith captured in the Declaration of Independence:

Many years ago as I watched the divisions in this country widen, I realized that we no longer had common interests. When we divide into tribes that are set against each other—women against men, religious against irreligious, rich against poor, black against white, homosexual against straight, citizens against illegals, socialists against capitalists, constitutionalists against Marxists—we lose the broader principles and culture that bind us together.

Who wants to fight for the Karens that despise you? Who wants to fight on behalf of the bitter clingers and deplorables? Will you really defend my right to say what I want when you think that what I say is “literally violence”? Who the heck wants to go to war to protect the soy boys and antifa anarchists?

What’s amazing is that 45 percent of Americans don’t even have the guts to defend hearth and home. They would literally abandon their home to preserve their life. Turley again:

If you are not willing to defend this country, citizenship becomes a status of convenience; an opportunistic association that can be shed as easily as it is acquired. It is a commitment that extends little beyond annual tax obligations.

Shameful.

I’m part of the 50-64 demo and, you’ll not be surprised to learn, I would stay and fight. And I know others who would stand and fight. But will it be enough?

Have a good weekend.

Daily Broadside | Rich Guy Tells the Plebes It’s Patriotic to Pay More for Gas

Daily Verse | Joshua 11:20
For it was the Lord himself who hardened their hearts to wage war against Israel, so that he might destroy them totally, exterminating them without mercy, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Monday’s Reading: Joshua 13-17

Monday and we’re really beginning to feel the voter effect of #NeverTrump and the Democrats, and the insane globalist, racist, cultural Marxist, biology and science-defying, climate-terrified Covidiots who think utopia is just over the horizon if only we get rid of the historically reliable capitalist means that have created the once-greatest nation in the history of the world and replace them with a Tyrant.

They owe us an apology for their short-sighted and media-infected rejection of president-in-exile Donald J. Trump, who had gotten us back on our feet and made us energy-independent until the Fool they put in office cancelled the Keystone Pipeline and banned fracking on federal lands while demanding we all turn ourselves into lab rats for a medically-unnecessary jab for a virus that mainly killed the elderly and the obese while withholding proven treatments that would’ve save a lot of lives.

The allegedly 81 million Americans who voted for Biden in 2020 got played, hard. And they owe the rest of us a big apology, and a promise to never screw our nation over like this again.

Yes, Trump was a jerk. You know what he wasn’t? Dangerously incompetent. Or barely kept motoring with a personalized daily slushie of embalming fluid.

It’s time for the Americans who saddled us with this embarrassment of a president to realize that they did exactly what they self-righteously accepted from mass media they were saving our nation from: voting for a four-year national disaster.

One of my daughters sent me a picture of her latest fill up at a gas station, along with appropriate gratitude to the one who made it possible.

Gas is now over $4/gal. where I live and jumped to over $5/gal. where one of my other daughters live. She is now seriously thinking about moving to a lower-cost state.

Then there’s the self-righteous, no longer relevant George Takei, who’s worth $14M, telling us plebes to take one for the team. I won’t link you to this moron’s account, but the responses have been blistering, and rightly so.

It reminds me of a co-worker who once told me she was willing to pay more taxes to take care of illegal aliens. Government creates problems, frames fixing them as a moral virtue, then takes your money to “fix” the problems.

And if you complain, you’re EVIL.

The problem is … the problems are never fixed. And there are always more problems to be fixed, requiring more of your hard-earned money to fix them.

Meanwhile, our politicians laugh all the way to the bank.

These people are absolutely shameless, yet they claim to be champions of the poor, the minimum wage earners, the less fortunate.

You know who Brandon’s policies are absolutely decimating? Yeah, the poor, the minimum wage earners, the less fortunate.

I’m solidly middle-class, and I’m feeling the pinch. But the very people progressives claim to be fighting for are the very ones who can least afford this administration’s policies.

The Democrats are in for a shellacking this November but unless we take back all three branches of government, nothing will change. We’ve got to wipe the Democrats out—I mean, COMPLETELY OUT—in November, and then put Trump or DeSantis in the Big Chair two years later.

Then we need to go on a total law-making tear that lock in truly patriotic goals, like term limits, teaching authentic American history to our children, a balanced budget law, making socialism illegal, mandating voter ID and in-person voting on election day, completing the wall on our southern border, and outlawing the Democrat party.

I jest on that last one. Or do I?

If you want to see the change, get out there and either run for office yourself (start local) or work on behalf of a trustworthy candidate. Knock on doors and donate what you can.

It’s the only way back.

Daily Broadside | Biden Channels “America First” As His Numbers Tank

Daily Verse | Deuteronomy 28:47-48
Because you did not serve the Lord your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity, therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies the Lord sends against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.

Wednesday’s Reading: Deuteronomy 31-34

Wednesday and it’s the morning after.

After what, you ask? After the terrible kabuki theater that was passed as a State of the Union speech last night by Brandon.

True, all SOTU speeches tend to be similar and have shriveled to simple laundry lists of topics du jour that have polled well (or not) among Americans. But listening to the Fool deliver an address that insults my intelligence adds insult to injury.

I can’t possibly cover everything in his speech, but let’s start with the most overt lie that he told all night when he said, “And unlike the $2 Trillion tax cut passed in the previous administration that benefitted the top 1% of Americans, the American Rescue Plan helped working people—and left no one behind.”

That trope, that Trump’s tax cut only benefitted the top one percent of Americans, has been disproved by countless outlets, including the Washington Post, which gave it four Pinocchio’s. Brandon has been pushing this lie for the last three years.

The fact that the Resident led with that lie when talking about the economy undermined any credibility he might have had for the rest of the speech. Why believe anything he’s saying? He’s willing to lie on national television to one of the largest audiences there is.

Brandon started the night by bragging about how the U.S. has worked with 30 other nations to “release 60 million barrels of oil from reserves around the world,” including 30 million from our own Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

That sounds like a lot, but the United States burns 20.5 million barrels of oil EVERY DAY. 60 million barrels is a whole three days worth of oil.

Joe failed to tell us how that 60 million barrels will “blunt gas prices here at home.” Here’s how it’s going on the world markets, which will eventually show up at the gas pump:

On Wednesday morning, global benchmark Brent crude blew past $110 per barrel, rising more than 5.8% to $111.09, its highest since early July 2014.

That 60 million barrels really impressed the market!

Hey, how about getting the Keystone Pipeline up and running? How about getting us off dependence on foreign oil like Trump made us? How about supporting fracking and drilling again instead of catering to the tiny minority of ecoterrorists that somehow punch above their weight?

A lot of his speech seemed very Trumpian and “America First,” which is a strange pivot for Democrats who spent four years demonizing Trump and his “nationalistic” policies. Brandon told us that we should bring manufacturing back home, and highlighted chip maker Intel, whose CEO was at the SOTU. Intel is going to build a $20 billion semiconductor “mega site” in Ohio.

I can applaud that. Should’ve been done years ago but it’s only because of “increasing automation in chip factories and potential government funding [that] Intel is able to reshore some of this manufacturing and still be cost-effective.”

Brandon also broke with his own party by addressing crime with, “The answer is not to Defund the police. The answer is to FUND the police with the resources and training they need to protect our communities.” He has the audacity to pretend that #DefundThePolice wasn’t a Democrat thing.

Why the sudden change, Brandon? Could it be that Americans are sick and tired of the Democrat double-standard and are ticked that the Dems have made America less safe with their radical ideology?

The topic that aggravated me the most, though, was when Brandon brought up immigration.

And if we are to advance liberty and justice, we need to secure the Border and fix the immigration system.

We can do both. At our border, we’ve installed new technology like cutting-edge scanners to better detect drug smuggling.

We’ve set up joint patrols with Mexico and Guatemala to catch more human traffickers.

We’re putting in place dedicated immigration judges so families fleeing persecution and violence can have their cases heard faster.

We’re securing commitments and supporting partners in South and Central America to host more refugees and secure their own borders.

We can do all this while keeping lit the torch of liberty that has led generations of immigrants to this land—my forefathers and so many of yours.

My gut twists when I hear that empty rhetoric, the dead cliches, the completely insincere suggestion that he wants to “secure our border.” If he wanted to secure our border, he would’ve finished the wall that Trump started. He wouldn’t demonize our border patrol agents as mercilessly “whipping” border jumpers from their horses. He’d threaten the hordes that make their way up through Mexico. He’d stop flying them around the country and dumping them on unsuspecting communities in the middle of the night.

We’ve had nearly 2 million people illegally cross our border since Brandon took office, the most in 35 years. That’s enough people to be the fifth largest city in America, replacing Phoenix, AZ (Population: 1,743,469).

What’s really galling about all of this is that every problem Brandon brought up was created by Democrat politicians. The impact of Covid on developmental delays in children who were kept out of school and wearing masks; closed businesses; the war on cops and the spike in crime; the foreign invasion on our southern border—you name it, the Democrats created it.

Every. Single. One.

And now they come to us and tell us they are going to fix it with their solutions that will cost the rest of us more money.

It’s an outrageous scam.

I’m tired of being scammed. Aren’t you?

Plus, note that Brandon didn’t mention the January 6 protestors who remain locked up. I thought that was a slam dunk for them. Also, I didn’t hear anything about ending our involvement in Afghanistan. Wasn’t that a triumph of Brandon’s spectacular leadership?

Huh, how ’bout that. Nary a peep.

Finally, to top it all off, Brandon fairly yelled during the closing lines of his monologue, as though he were trying to inspire a football team at half time. Maybe he thought that’s what he was doing, because he ended his entire speech with “Go get ’em!”

Go get ’em?

Conclusion: nothing will change as a result of his speech.

Daily Broadside | The Secrets of the Russia Collusion Lie Are Being Revealed

Daily Verse | Numbers 15:30
‘But anyone who sins defiantly, whether native-born or alien, blasphemes the Lord, and that person must be cut off from his people.’

Wednesday’s Reading: Numbers 13-16

Wednesday and where do I start? Sandy Hook and Remington? Thousands of invalidated baptisms? The 30 Democrats leaving the House at the end of this term? The BLM supporter who tried to assassinate a mayoral candidate in Kentucky?

Nah.

Let’s go with the most recent developments in the RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA! collusion narrative that the Democrats and MSMSNBCNN alliance reported on pushed for years — that President Trump was a RUSSIAN agent and puppet of Putin and he was selling the United States out to RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA! and our precious democracy was in Danger, Danger, Will Robinson!

It was all a lie, just as we knew it was.

Special Counsel John Durham continues to unravel the Trump-Russia “collusion” story, and his latest court disclosure contains startling information. According to a Friday court filing, the 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign effort to compile dirt on Donald Trump reached into protected White House communications.

According to Fox News:

Lawyers for the Clinton campaign paid a technology company to “infiltrate” servers belonging to Trump Tower, and later the White House, in order to establish an “inference” and “narrative” to bring to government agencies linking Donald Trump to Russia, a filing from Special Counsel John Durham found.

The tech company had privileged access to the servers which held non-public data. In other words, they were paid to exploit their access to private, non-public, secure information in the hopes of finding dirt on Trump.

Durham’s filing states that in July 2016, the tech executive worked with Sussmann, a U.S. investigative firm retained by Law Firm 1 on behalf of the Clinton campaign, numerous cyber researchers and employees at multiple internet companies to “assemble the purported data and white papers.”

“In connection with these efforts, Tech Executive-1 exploited his access to non-public and/or proprietary Internet data,” the filing states. “Tech Executive-1 also enlisted the assistance of researchers at a U.S.-based university who were receiving and analyzing large amounts of Internet data in connection with a pending federal government cybersecurity research contract.”

“Tech Executive-1 tasked these researchers to mine Internet data to establish ‘an inference’ and ‘narrative’ tying then-candidate Trump to Russia,” Durham states. “In doing so, Tech Executive-1 indicated that he was seeking to please certain ‘VIPs,’ referring to individuals at Law Firm-1 and the Clinton campaign.”

This after years of smears coming from the likes of Adam Schiff-for-Brains who claimed that “he has seen ‘more than circumstantial evidence’ of a Trump-Putin conspiracy” … a truly delusional and lying piece of Schiff. Don’t forget MSNBC’s star, Rachel Maddow, who was “the most prominent TV host to push the Russia collusion narrative.

Fox News’s Gregg Jarrett, who wrote a book about the hoax, “Witch Hunt,” writes,

The stunning revelation that lawyers for the Hillary Clinton campaign paid a computer technology company to surveil a sitting president, Donald Trump, shows that more than half a dozen crimes may have been committed to advance the false accusation that he colluded with Russia.

It’s likely true that no one of any importance will get jail time for this, least of all Clinton.

As with any well organized criminal exercise, it is exceedingly difficult to nab the person at the top. Hillary Clinton is no different.  She carried out her machinations in smart and clever ways. She had others do her dirty work for her and maintained a distance separated through an elaborate chain of people. It was akin to a money laundering scheme, except dirty information was being washed.

Unless people in the chain break their silence and implicate Hillary, she will likely escape culpability.

Evidence of her role has slowly emerged from declassified records. It was July 26, 2016, when Clinton personally approved the plot to vilify Trump with the bogus collusion claims, according to CIA documents.  The genesis of the smear came from Hillary herself as a strategy to distract from her own email scandal.

Two days later, President Obama was alerted but appears to have done nothing except keep the matter concealed. Intelligence officials then sent an investigative referral on Clinton to then-FBI Director James Comey and his deputy, Peter Strzok. Predictably, it was buried.

Make no mistake –it was Clinton who invented the elaborate collusion hoax, financed it, and directed the process by which it was circulated to the media and the FBI.  Her false claims were then disseminated by a cadre of cronies and dirty-tricksters working secretly in the shadows.

Neither the White House nor Hillary herself responded to requests for comment in the wake of the Special Counsel’s revelations. This even as Democrats want Clinton investigated:

[N]early three out of four Americans want to see Hillary Clinton investigated for her connection to the efforts to frame Trump for ties to Russia. That number includes 66 percent of Democrats.

It’s hilarious to me that Clinton is making noise about a comeback in 2024 for a third run at the White House. But I’m not stupid … the Democrats put an empty, self-promotional, racist grand-stander with zero brains in the White House in 2020, so I wouldn’t put it past them to do the same with Felonius Milhous Pantsuit (as Kurt Schlichter calls her).

I admit that once Trump was out of office, I expected that the Durham investigation would die a quiet death, simply fading from view without notice. The fact that he’s been chipping away all this time is encouraging and I hope—I hope!—that he can prove that the only collusion going on was between Hillary, Obama, Biden and the rest of the Democrat cabal, including the MSM.

Our republic is counting on it.

Daily Broadside | It May Take Even More Insanity for People to Quit Joe

Daily Verse | Exodus 35:21
… and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved him came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the Tent of Meeting …

Tuesday’s Reading: Exodus 38-40

Tuesday and the first day of the second month in the year of our Lord 2022.

A recent Marquette Law School poll claims Brandon beats both Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis by similar margins in hypothetical head-to-head match-ups for the 2024 presidential election.

The survey … found that 43 percent of adults nationwide would support Biden if the 2024 presidential election were held today, while 33 percent would vote for Trump in a one-on-one match-up.

In a hypothetical race against DeSantis, however, Biden polls slightly worse: 41 percent of adults nationwide said they would throw their support behind Biden, while 33 percent would support DeSantis.

All I can say is that their survey sample has to skew Democrat. Seriously, who did they talk to—voters in Portland?

After record inflation, open borders, more COVID deaths than under Trump, and near-anarchy in our cities, you’re telling me that 4-in-10 adults would still vote for Biden over Trump or DeSantis?

C’mon, man.

I mean, 40 percent is not 70 percent, so we have that going for us.

But then there’s this Harvard-Harris poll, which seems to herald a realignment of political loyalty.

In the latest Harvard-Harris poll, former President Donald Trump’s net favorability rating is 17 points higher than His Fraudulency Joe Biden’s.
[…]
Trump’s favorability is eight points higher than Slow Joe’s. Trump’s unfavorable rating is nine points lower. Trump is three points above the water. Biden is 14 points under the water.
[…]
Oh, and if the election were held today, Trump would beat Biden 46 to 40 percent. Oh, and when asked who’s been a better president, Trump beats Biden, 53 to 47 percent.

So which is it? The Marquette survey (Biden over Trump 43-33) or the Harvard-Harris poll (Trump over Biden 46-40)?

Here are two more data points to consider: In the RealClearPolitics poll of polls on favorability, Brandon is down -12.2 net points and Trump is only down -9.0 net points. That seems to match reality better than the law school’s survey.

The second data point is how Americans perceive Congress right now. Monmouth University Polling found that “Few Americans believe that either political party truly cares about the average family’s pocketbook.”

Just 19% of the public approves of the job Congress is currently doing. Almost 3 in 4 (74%) disapprove – including 81% of Republicans and 59% of Democrats. Just 24% of Americans feel the country is headed in the right direction. Another warning sign for the party in power is a shift in self-reported partisan affiliation. Currently, 26% of American adults identify themselves as Democrats, a number that ranged from 30% to 34% in Monmouth polling throughout last year. Republican identifiers currently stand at 31% of the population, which is up from a range of 23% to 27% in 2021. Moreover, when these numbers are combined with independents who say they lean toward either party, Republicans (51%) have a decided advantage over Democrats (41%).

A political consultant recently told me that people identify more and more as independents and that those independents are increasingly favoring Republicans. Not because Republicans are offering a more compelling story, but because Democrats have embraced the crazy and are scaring citizens.

Finally, one other poll from Politico and Morning Consult that has some interesting findings. When asked “If the 2024 presidential election were held today, would you vote for Joe Biden or the eventual Republican candidate?” 46 percent said they’d vote for the eventual Republican candidate and 37 percent said they’d vote for Brandon.

But when a specific person replaced the “Republican candidate,” the story was different. If the Republican candidate was Trump, Brandon would beat him 45%–44%; if it was Ron DeSantis, Brandon would beat him 44%–39%. Apparently, people are willing to vote for the “eventual Republican candidate” unless it’s the party favorites.

The conflicting results from different polls tell me that people are frustrated with Brandon and would like to make a change, but they don’t seem to like the choices for 2024. It also tells me that it may take a lot more pain for them to quit Brandon.

That is the most shocking thing of all.

Daily Broadside | Brandon Locks Up Nomination for “Worst President Ever” in Just His First Year!

Daily Verse | Exodus 4:13
But Moses said, “O Lord, please send someone else to do it.”

Friday’s Reading: Exodus 7-11
Saturday’s Reading: Exodus 12-14

Friday and we’re officially into the second year of the catastrophic failure that is the Brandon administration. Joey Sugar Cone was, at best, a mediocre Senator during his years in the upper chamber, and even that’s being generous. He’s always been an empty, clueless, vacuous, talentless greasy fabulist in a suit without an original thought or spine, and zero leadership skills.

He’s an actor who’s fed his lines by a staff that is paid to make him look smart. But get him away from his script and he says things like, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black,” or “it depends on what [Russia] does [in Ukraine]. It’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion,” or “There’s going to be no circumstance where you see people being lifted off the roof of an embassy in the—of the United States from Afghanistan.”

Now he’s old and his mental acuity (if you can call it that), is in decline. Combined with his untalented, incompetent, pretentious buffoonery over the last fifty years and you get what we’re looking at today: an unmitigated disaster of a man who has no wisdom, no idea how to navigate the political waters he’s floating on, and is an empty vessel onto which the extremists he brought with him into the White House project their vomit-inducing ideology.

The result of Brandon’s empty rhetoric and yummy vanilla ice cream cones?

  • Brandon revoked the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline and killed our energy independence. That contributed to a 60 percent rise in gas prices, the highest since 1980.
  • Brandon botched our withdrawal from Afghanistan, getting 13 U.S. soldiers killed and abandoning thousands of American civilians and allies to the Taliban.
  • Brandon has U.S. inflation running at 39-year highs, with 6.8 percent year-to-year inflation, the greatest 12-month increase since 1982. December’s inflation rate was 7 percent.
  • Brandon can’t fix supply chain issues, causing a shortage of essential commodities across the country.
  • Brandon has created even more division than under Trump with his administration demonizing conservatives and Republicans as “domestic terrorists.” Brandon has also likened his ideological opponents as the worst of racist Democrats like Bull Connor and George Wallace while trying to wear the mantle of Abraham Lincoln.
  • Brandon promised that he would shut down the Peking Lung Pox, but its offspring are running rampant across the country. More people have died of the virus under his watch (426,000) than all that died under Trump. By his own logic, Brandon should resign: “220,000 Americans dead … anyone who is responsible for that many deaths should not remain as President of the United States of America.”
  • Brandon has presided over the collapse of our southern border, with 1.7 million illegal aliens apprehended crossing our border in 2021.
  • Brandon sits at a 42 percent approval rating with at least on poll putting him at 33%.

Has Brandon restored our norms yet? Is everybody quite at peace and harmony now that Brandon is Resident and Orange Man Bad is gone? No more mean tweets, right?

If you were looking for Jimmy Carter 2.0, you must be thrilled.

Have a good weekend.

Daily Broadside | The UniParty is Strong with Ted Cruz

Daily Verse | Genesis 11:4
Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”

Thursday’s Reading: Genesis 12-14

It’s Thursday, January 6 and the one-year anniversary of when the ruling class and their enforcers staged a Reichstag fire at the Capitol that netted them not only hundreds of men and women to harass, but also a foundation on which to build the lie that “white supremacist terrorism” is the most lethal threat we face in this country. They have continued to build on that theme and openly fret that the outgroup will overthrow the 2022 and 2024 elections and destroy our “democracy.”

For instance, here’s Chinese noodler Eric Swalwell taking it to the extremes:

“Democracy nearly died”?

Really?

You’re sure that’s not an exaggeration?

Swalwell is the last guy to be talking about the death of “democracy.” He sits on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and was literally in bed with a Chinese spy. Did Democracy “nearly die” while you were being intimate with Fang Fang, you compromised flak?

Why this guy still has a job is beyond me, but he’s a Democrat, you see, and the rules are different for members of The PartySM.

Besides, Swalwell is all about election integrity, doncha’ know.

“If we don’t get it right”? You mean rigging it again? To preserve your precious “democracy”?

I hate to break it to you, genius, but we’re not a “democracy.”

What’s amazing is that everything the Demokrats accuse the Republicans of doing is exactly what the Demokrats are actually doing. It’s a massive exercise in projection and gaslighting.

What really irks me though, is that Ted Cruz, a reliably conservative voice in the Senate, weighed in today with comments about J6 that, to me, sink any enthusiasm I might have had if he chooses to run for president in 2024. (I voted for him in 2016 as a write-in candidate before my thinking on Trump turned a corner.)

“We are approaching a solemn anniversary this week. And it is an anniversary of a violent terrorist attack on the Capitol, where we saw the men and women of law enforcement demonstrate incredible courage, incredible bravery, risk their lives for the Capitol,” Cruz said at a Senate Rules Committee oversight hearing Wednesday with Capitol Police Chief Tom Manger discussing Jan. 6 security failures.

For him to use that language—”a violent terrorist attack”—is to play right into the hands of our oppressors. JANUARY 6 WAS NOT A VIOLENT TERRORIST ATTACK. Nobody bombed Pearl Harbor and nobody turned airliners into missiles. Nobody blew up a cafeteria with a suicide vest, nobody ran down pedestrians walking along a sidewalk with a truck, and nobody lined up captives on a beach and beheaded them all.

To apply that language to a mass trespassing event is to trivialize 9/11 and oversell J6.

And as I wrote yesterday, the only people to die on January 6 were Trump supporters, all of whom encountered violence from the Capitol Hill Police. One was shot without warning at nearly point-blank range as she climbed through a broken window. Should she have been doing that? Absolutely not. Should she have been killed for it and should her killer get off scot-free? Absolutely not.

I’m not saying J6 was defensible. It wasn’t. I condemn vandalism and trespassing. But it wasn’t what the Left makes it out to be or, unfortunately, what the Right now makes it out to be.

No wonder the country is going to hell.
