It’s Wednesday and I’m still chuckling over that 1-second video of Biden saying, “And, uh, what am I doing here?” from yesterday’s Broadside. Can’t help it. It epitomizes him, his Residency and the whole Democrat Party. They’re a bunch of shallow grifters whose whole lives in Wokeistan, D.C. are a pretentious display of sanctimonious arrogance built on a foundation of lies.

It’s sad that they’re destroying the country, but at least it’s entertaining to watch them squirm and lose their minds when we point and laugh at the senile puppet they’ve propped up as their “leader.”

They’re also giving up any pretense that they’re champions of historic American values. They’re not. I’ve said for years now that the Democrats are an anti-American mob of imposters.

I’ve even been raked over the coals for saying that I’d rather be an American than a Democrat. “You meanie! How could you even insinuate that somehow Democrats aren’t American?!”

I’m not insinuating it. I’m declaring it. The question isn’t “How could I?”—the question is, “How could I not?” Democrats prove my point day-after-day, week-after-week, month-after-month, year-after-year, ad infinitum.

The latest example comes courtesy of Jerry Nadler (D-Myth) whose pants are cinched just a little too tight under his armpits. A swamp creature, he’s been in politics since 1976 and is currently in his 15th term in Congress, having served since 1992. That’s right, the 73-year-old has been in Wokeistan, D.C. for 28 years and was a Democrat Assemblyman in New York for 16 years before that, for a grand total of 44 years of “public service” (attestation required).

Here’s the gem Nadler laid on us last week, as described by Tyler O’Neil at PJ Media.

Last Thursday, as the House of Representatives debated H.R. 5, the Orwellian “Equality Act,” a seemingly exasperated Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) arguably revealed the true nature of his party’s radical legislation. In response to Rep. Greg Steube’s (R-Fla.) speech quoting the Bible, Nadler declared that “what any religious tradition describes as God’s will is no concern of this Congress.”

What could be more central to American tradition and history than a recognition that God governs in the affairs of men? Someone should get Nadler a copy of the Declaration of Independence. The sentence in that document that is key to our founding as a nation reads, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

This has been coming for a long time, of course, as Democrats pushed the infamous “wall of separation” between church and state which removed prayer from public schools and, eventually, nearly any mention of God in the public square lest any government institution be seen as breaching said “wall.”

The most notorious in-your-face example of God’s expulsion from our civic life was when the Ten Commandments monument was removed from the Alabama Judicial Building in Montgomery in 2003.

The judicial system literally had the Ten Commandments wheeled out of sight on a forklift. In my opinion there isn’t a better picture of removing God from our national culture than that one.

Nadler just said aloud what has been true for the Democrat Party for years: they’ve abandoned God and any pretense that God has any influence on their politics or policy pursuits. Very Pharaoh-like.

Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey him and let Israel go? I do not know the Lord and I will not let Israel go.” (Exodus 5:2)

Remember, this is the same group that booed when party leaders voted to amend their platform to include the word “God” at their 2012 national convention.

Biden himself has said that as a Catholic, he’s against abortion, but that he refuses “to impose it on equally devout Christians and Muslims and Jews. . . . I do not believe we have a right to tell other people — women — that they can’t control their body.”

What good is it to believe what is right but fail to champion what is right?

What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? (James 2:14)

No wonder America is in a moral free fall.
