Happy Thursday dear readers. Have you noticed that butterflies aren’t what they used to be?

This is the last full week of the Trump administration. As I’ve written here, here, and here, I wasn’t always a fan of Donald Trump. But over the last four years he’s proven to be highly competent at getting things done. Not everything, but many things, and mostly important things. Things like tax cuts for the middle class and low-wage earners, bringing businesses back to the U.S., firing up the economy, reducing joblessness among minorities and making great progress on peace in the Middle East.

But ever since his so-called “election loss,” it’s clear that we’re headed into some very choppy and dangerous waters. It started with silencing Trump on Twitter and Facebook, accelerated with the attempted murder of Parler (there are rumors that while badly wounded, it might recover), and is moving into high gear with the Democrats impeaching Donald J. Trump yesterday for the second time, making Washington, D.C. a state, packing the Supreme Court and abolishing the Electoral College once Biden is inaugurated.

And that’s just the first 100 days.

I loathe the Democratic Party and everything it stands for. I loathe their leaders, their evil lies, their underhanded tactics, their foul morality, their unbridled hypocrisy and their contempt for everything that made America what she is—including our Constitution.

They are anti-American traitors who have embraced cultural Marxism, the antithesis of American freedoms. And now that they’re on the cusp of full control of the Executive and Legislative branches of our government, and we’ve got a lily-livered Chief Justice in the third branch, there doesn’t seem to be much that Republicans can do to stop them.

LOL. Who am I kidding?

The Republicans don’t want to “stop” them. Congress is a UniParty made up of Leftists and less-Leftists (with a few notable exceptions like Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley and Jim Jordan). Can someone point out to me of what use the Republicans have been over the last 20 years? Leave Trump’s tenure out of it—in what significant ways have the Republicans helped you and me keep more of our money and increase our freedoms?

Just one example: these Very Smart People on the left and the right just flung more than $900 billion—billion, with a B!—of our tax money into the world while deigning to return a measly $600 to each of us—assuming you don’t make too much money already.

And that’s not even money we have. It’s debt.

That’s what these creatures think of you and me. Less money and less freedom because we and our children and their children will still be paying that bill long after these weasels have retired and gone home to their multi-million-dollar homes.

Worst of all, in one of the singular habits I don’t like about Trump, he signed that monstrosity of a bill after sending it back with a request for $2000 per person in the U.S.—and being rejected.

I guess we can be thankful that it’s only $600. But Democrats and some Republicans have already said they’ll bump it up to $2000. Great job conservatives!

So, no, the Republicans aren’t an opposition party.

The biggest gap in this country isn’t between enlightened social justice warriors and the backward racist redneck freaks of JesusLand, it’s between those who want to continue sticking their snouts into troughs of taxpayer money, feel their own grifts are sacred birthrights above reproach and have different laws apply to them than the peasants, and those who have been made aware of the scam.

Let me bottom line it for you: our government is out of control. It no longer adheres to the principles laid out in the Constitution. Love him or hate him, during his term president Trump exposed the underbelly of our federal government—and it is detestable.
